This school is a complete joke, the teachers are horrible they scream in the children's faces, blame the children for stuff that they didn't do. They excluded a child for defending themselves. Absolutely horrific!!!!!!!!!!

Yo might think oh another ungrateful kid complaining while reading this review but this is how idris is run for some reason you cant use your phones at your break or lunch time your own time cant even check what lessons you have on your phone no coats dont matter if your freezing to death the food is rancid id personally rather eat from a bin stuff to do at break or lunch is sit aimlessly waiting for it to end or get verbally abused by a random kid i mean no schools are perfect but this is like a prison camp you have a 3min walk to ponty where you could buy your own food from the shops but no its too dangerous to walk over there you can only walk there when you go home the staff are aight school it equipment is good but heavily monitored no fun on them pcs every flash game site or other is blocked cant even get chrome extensions school safety is good because there are a camera in every room thats not even my being sarcastic there is genuinely a camera in almost every room say bye bye to privacy the indoor environment is constantly being trashed by others but no one cares to punish the kids that do it outdoor environment is just benches school info you will get the day before it happens which is not ideal and there are practically no school activities to do throughout the day so if i were you id skip this one

The school is a complete joke. The bullying is terrible. If you get bullied, there no point about telling a teacher about it cause they won't give a damm. The teachers are useless they not teach us anything important at all. If you want to send you kid to a good school pick some other school cause this one is just horrible.

Found a cool stick once (best memory there), feel bad for the students and few good teachers if any are left. Please just go somewhere else if you care about your kids well-being

People have been getting bullied and threatened to get pushed in front of a moving bus they never do anything about it and the staff needs to do their job properly including well-being teachers and the corridors always had food in them absolutely disgusting!!!

This school is a joke run like a prison camp
And taught by clowns who believe in bullying and leaves it happen
They definitely need a visit from the education system to see how it is run it’s cold no access to toilet unless supervised wow

Had a nosebleed and couldn't clean up because the toilets are always locked no matter what, corridor doors often get locked and then teachers complained about us being late, Had a blue painted corridor that would've made moving around the school so much easier but they wouldn't let us use it and forced us to go outside and around, not allowed in the reception either, headmaster doesn't prioritise what's important and the staff focus on uniform rather than teaching anything, people in set 1 receive extra opportunities while the others are ignored, breaks were too short, teachers complain if you're there early and don't go into the class to get ready but then complain if you let yourself in, nothing done about bullying, vile imagery and videos end up circulating and the staff will do nothing, etc. Overall it's a bad school ran by an egotist.

Idris Davies primary is a joke!!if your child is being bullied no point telling teacher because they do not care ,best thing to do advise your kid too hit back. Most of the teachers have their favourites so if your child is not 1 of them they have little help & recognition. They have no patience with special need children I have witnessed this with my own 2 eyes.i would never recommend this school , if you want your child to succeed and grow in confidence best school to send them is fochriw

Wish I never sent my children to this school. It seems if your child’s face don’t fit with some of the teachers any incidents that happens and your child is there they are automatically at fault. It’s like they want small classes and the way to do that is to suspend pupils at any given opportunity. Some teachers are not interested in passing on knowledge they just want to turn up and get paid. The leadership and understanding in the headmaster is like putting a drunk in charge of a bar, useless. Think it’s time the school had an unannounced visit off the school inspectors. To say this school is below par is an understatement .

This school is an absolute shambles would not recommend sending your kids to this school can’t even go to the toilet if your busting you’ll only get a day in RTL absolutely pathetic !!!!!

If I could, this school would be rated much lower. Ever since we’ve had a new ****teacher, this school is getting buried, he doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing at all. Number 1, the social distancing rule is a joke, it’s not even being enforced. Number 2, mask wearing. Okay, yeah, they make us put it on before we leave the classroom, but then everyone in the corridor isn’t wearing one because they’ve taken them off. Rarely get told to put it on outside of the classroom. Number 3, THEY CARE MORE ABOUT ATTENDANCE, GRADES AND UNIFORM MORE THAN US TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK GREAT. I’ve had*******s telling us that they wish they work in other schools because ours is so bad. Once had detention because I was holding my blazer in my hand and not wearing it, because it was the summer, and very hot. Also, another one because I’d accidentally left a bottle of water on a table. At our break and lunch, me and a few got shouted at for being inside, while the rain outside was preventing us from sitting anywhere to eat, the only thing it helped us with, is getting wet, as it was raining badly outside (but we still got kicked out in it) then, being told it’s okay for other people to be inside 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. If you want to send your child to the right school, this isn’t the school. I couldn’t think of a worse school. There’s literally like 6 out of the hundreds of*******s there that care about us. All the others just want their pay then to go home. Mainly the ***********. He does not care about any of us AT ALL. Also, the bullying situation is a joke. They care about none of this at all. It all seems to be a joke to them.

Terrible school... make the children go outside when it’s freezing cold and tipping down with rain. Don’t handle bullying very well, tell the children to stop picking on other kids and that’s it..don’t even punish them. Punish the children for wearing their coats in the building. Teachers are terrible at explaining how to complete tasks and don’t make sure the children all understand the tasks in hand before moving on they just pile more work onto them. The lunch break is stupidly short, it doesn’t give the pupils the chance to buy food from the cafeteria and eat it because the queues are always extremely long and it takes forever to get served. Also the pupils need to be escorted to the toilet and are treated like kids. The*******s attitude towards the children in the school is appalling. Not to mention how the *********** is a hypocrite and doesn’t even care about the pupils attending the school. He is such a self centred*** and has run that school into the ground...feel sorry for the poor children that attend that horrible school.
