The school is absolutely rubbish. They often give teachers who cannot teach to the top sets and give good teachers to the bottom sets so they can get as much students to get grade 5 and above rather than helping students with potential get 9s. As well as this, there is clear favouritism and the teachers tend to accuse students of things that are untrue. There have also been racial incidents in which pakistani students have been called racial slurs by white and black students and the school has taken no steps in resolving the issue. There is an obvious discrimination in the school that is detrimental to the students’ well being and reputation.
This school is bad. It breaks your mental health and theres absolutely no teachers to speak to. Teachers often have favourites, which means theres no chance of helping out other kids. There are teachers that accuse you of doing stuff you havent. After having a argument or a fight (etc) , the teachers do something about it but when it happens again they leave it and say “oh ignore them” stuff like that. Please dont send your children here it will break their happiness.
Icknield high school - teachers favouriting others
Well, all I've gotta say is that I cknield teachers does have favourites and the teacher then doesn'nt even help you because there busy chatting to their "favourites".
terrible please don’t send your child here. Absolutely no support system for mental health and they won’t do anything if theres an issue in school e.g bullying, harassment. Had a horrendous time at Icknield
This school is average because it does have problems. There are some problems with low quality teachers and some senior staff are very inconsistent when handing out punishments. There is also a very bad support network for students who need help with their mental health and there is very little support for people struggling with this. I also believe that teachers have favourites and this affects their decisions when taking disciplinary actions.
