Not enough support for people with learning dissabilities
They don't care about you if you have dissabilities like me, they praise people for having full attendence when I litteraly struggle to sleep and get up in the morning causing me to miss school like, oh congratulations for not being sick or mentally ill! They post on social media things like congrats on doing this to a student but they dont post when someone who struggles with school actually does something like going to school or trying hard.
First of all the way the other teachers treat students is appalling. Especially the students doing their gcses. As if the y11 kids don't have enough on their minds they still get punished as usual and can even get isolation. At this school there isn't even an option for study leave and if students have an exam the next day there isn't an option to just revise that. The way some of the teachers conduct themselves is terrible for example the head teacher mr smith. all he can do is shout at students I've never not heard a minute go by wear his voice isn't echoing down the corridor there is also miss Pinkney. She loves the power she holds against her students and doesn't care about the school rules and will threaten you with absolutely ridiculous punishments for near enough nothing. She also loves to target one or two students a lesson and if she even if everyone is talking if they utter a word they get punished and sent out. Another reason why these school employees are terrible is due to it being very corrupt and even if a teacher is in the wrong the student will get punished. Some may think it's innocent until proven guilty but at huntington secondary school it's guilty even if proven innocent. Mrs Townsend is a great example of a corrupt head of year. She cannot even consider for a second that a teacher is in the wrong. She is truly pathetic. Finally I just want to say the mental health of the year 11 students at this school is not getting enough attention and the overwhelming stress from the exams combined with still dealing with punishments over little things is too much for these young adults.
they never really help with mental health and big problems they only act like they care when around your parents and they can’t be bothered with the kids who obviously have learning problems and are bad behavioured so they just exclude them
im still with them they don't help with bullying and most of the teachers aren't kind (oddly mostly english - we love mr elwell tho) and the students students diverse they spread homophobia and sexism ect and there isn't much safety for girls there i was harassed in the corridor and they don't help with finding disorders (im dyslexic)
