The dinners are hairy, soggy and mushy. The rules on uniform are ridiculous and unneeded. The staff are short tempered and irritable. This school is horrible. Would not recommend.
Hope Valley is a great school with a low number of students, around 500 a year in total. But overall, the experience and learning opportunities are not good. There is less choice for GCSE as the low number of students per year group would not work around big enough classes. Some of the teachers are quite rude and not helpful towards students when the students are trying their utter best to achieve their academic goals. I'm going into Yr 11 this year so I'm hoping it will improve that little bit so I can get good GCSE scores.
