I think this year Holy Trinity has very good teachers. Take your kids to this school for good life skills and good opportunities. If you come, you won't want to leave! Well done to Mrs Oldcorn for hiring such smart and kind teachers. 😇 The school also does fun activities such as staff karaoke to raise money to charity's and does science experiments which the science teachers go out of their way to get equipment for as they want us to learn the best way possible 😇 The school is also really clean and has 5 star food. I am so lucky to be a student at this school!
Half the time we don't get homework so it's pretty good for us because half is a studying for tests it would have been excellent if there was no burgers on Monday and Wednesday because they don't taste nice
When I attended this school I was made out to be a bad kid when really I just had a learning disability. In year 8 they noticed some traits however didn't do anything about it. In year 9, they opened up an Early Help Assesment where they said all my problems started at home. This was wrong. Once my mum had filled her part of the EHA in it was said to her that this was just kept on file however when we looked into this it should have been sent off to a professional as soon as it was filled in delaying the help I could have received during my time at Holy Trinity. I had a meeting with an Educational Physiologist who just wrote about the things we already knew. During Year 10, I was permanently excluded from Holy Trinity due to standing behind a fire door "risking people's health" there was no fire or emergency. A teacher asked me to open the door whilst shouting which I wont respond to due to me not being able to cope with a high tone. Another teacher came and said calmly can you open the door please due to him not shouting I opened the door. Throughout my time at Holy Trinity I felt bullied by the staff there and often felt worthless whilst at that school. Since starting at Springwell , with the right support, I am now the better version of myself I am involved with the police and fire cadets and am also on track for good GCSE grades. I feel as though if I had the right support at Holy Trinity which I desperately needed I would have made it until the end of Year 11.
