From what I've heard and seen about this school, it’s horrible and does not care for students as they say they do.
There is always some sort of incident including coloured pupils at the school being unfairly punished where as the non-coloured pupils get away with everything in broad daylight. Furthermore i’ve heard about a situation where a teacher told a student her dad dropped dead in front of her and to move on with the current drama she has going on with a group of girls saying that the poor child’s dad deserved to die because he had gotten with her mum when she is only slightly under his age, then for the teacher to call the parent and infer the child was lying about it to her own mother.
This is school needs to be shut down or even get new teachers because theres always something happening with teachers Aka there was a teacher not long ago who got fired or left because he was a apparent “pedophile”..again i'm going off what i have been told and because i do not know this teacher personally i am not going to say its true. Again there is a new teacher who recently joined in the school who had to leave his old one for treating students badly!!! He has implemented rules such as:
Having to finish all their homework in a deadline without any help… giving detentions for doing their quizzing booklet on the wrong date.. having to complete a booklet and not skipping any questions even if they 100% do not know them..
And many many more.
I have also heard girls talking on the bus about how their blazers are uncomfortable and will get detention for not wearing them, getting detention for makeup, jewellery and nails!! This should not matter because a student should be able to express themselves and wearing a little bit of makeup, jewellery etc. These should not and does NOT distract or discourage them for doing work..
I’ve had my friends daughter say how uncomfortable she feels with male teachers being on toilet control as well, as it sounds harmless we never know what these young girls have been through or what goes on in their mind!!!
Talking to a student herself she has said the school is so draining with the amount of bullying there is even though the school “combats” bullying, she said she wishes she never went and finds it hard to pull herself out of bed in the morning to go school and be riddled left and right by teachers for either not knowing something or getting a question wrong, I feel utterly helpless in this situation because no pupil of a school should feel like that ever in their life.
My heart goes out to all the kids who deal with stuff like this in that school.
they honestly do not care about your well being ATALL when i first joined i had bright red hair in year 8 but two weeks into year 9 it became a issue when it was dark red ?? aslo shunning pupils from sociotey for being different but not doing anything when i tell you about bullies ?? aslo the amount of footballs that have been lobbed at my head and the amount of WHITE Teachers saying the N word is INSANE the only good thing this school has done is the country trips . also the hygiene is crazy it is genuinely repulsive bloody pads stuck in the wall and wet tissue paper stuck to the walls not to mention the fact boys and girls have to share toilet . oh and don’t get me STARTED on uniform . i got told of for my skirt being to short so i started wearing trousers got told they were to tight so i changed them then got told they were to baggy along with the pe kit so why do you care if my school skirt is above the knee when i can see girls bums in the pe skorts . you really need to sort out the school skirt because you designed it so it can be gender neutral but not even the girls want to wear it anymore . on the topic of pe sort out the holes in the ceiling . also sort out the boys . most of them are the most disgusting vile creatures that look like they have snuk onto earth in addition to standing in the cold for line up i’m getting harassed and my hair pulled by the boys behind me i once got my hair cut and no one believed me so i had to cut my waist length hair up to my shoulders. get your boys to also to stop touching girls because there is no reason a child should be getting there though touched under a table aslo i get you have safe guarding but you need to make it more acssesable to students because i have been struggling with mental health and eating disorders since i was 11 and they don’t care but my friends have full attention because they told the school about it in year 7 or there parents wich some kids are far to scared to do . also phones . atleast let the kids have them at break
so bad, literally a military camp… Just sit there for 50 minutes and listen to a teacher… Get told off for not knowing answers, struggling to concentrate, screamed at for not having homework on time or not understanding something….
Do not recommend.
Horrible school with their ridiculous strictness and policies! Only cares attendance even the child is poorly and never bothered to ask if the child is okay. Never had encountered such kind of school treatment to students.
