Highworth Warneford School

I came into the school being a high-airing student and loved school from years 7-8, however one thing that didn’t work well for the school was their handling of bullying. I would get called names, felt alone generally in my year and was struggling to make friends. Although this school is very small and a community cluster, the school staff felt too away from the student business.

overall a very good school. very welcoming atmosphere, a school that actually cares abt their students. very good transport links, number 7 runs through from highworth to stratton and town centre, with buses provided that go to other areas of swindon too. could do with a bit of doing up appearance wise, as it looks fairly dated bar the new sports hall. technology wise though, very up to date. another disadvantage is the lack of security. countless number of ways to leave and get into the school, a back gate that’s always open, the school field being a public field so you can easily get into the site, and the main gate always being open. rooms for improvement that’s for sure, but a much better experience than other schools in the area. culture is very good too.
