it’s okay, they mainly care about your uniform and they are extremely strict. it feels like you can’t ever have fun there or be happy and like you’re constantly being watched everywhere you go.
i grew a lot in this school, not due to support, but due to homophobic and transphobic bullying, insensitive teachers and my own hard work. i will say the school counsellor and some of the pastoral team were kind, caring and helpful and some of the few people that helped me get through school. my anxiety was so bad at this school i was having daily panic attacks and this only improved after leaving. i achieved great gcse grades but id only say a couple of the teachers actually helped me achieve them. ive spoken to several people that were in my year and they agree that their grades were due to their own work (we all achieved at least one 9).
Like someone else says it feels like a training school or a school strictly for discipline. All they care about is grades or what bloody socks your wearing and not actually any ring important.
