Havelock Academy

It is a really good I recommend it to the people in the future it but you can get beat up a few times like I have but it is a good school and the teacher are really nice and the dinner staff listen to you and support you with anything just talk to them and they will listen and support you and the teachers ask if you need to go to medical if you are hurt like if a kid is mad and they through a chair and it hits you a little bit they will ask you if you are alright all day even if you say you are ok I love the school so much

It is terrible. I have friends that got detentions for clicking their back. You have to pay for a pen pencil and ruler and if you don't get one your tutor lends it to you and if you still don't get one you get a half hour detention. I got detention once for forgetting my PE socks. Guys if you're looking to send your kid there I wouldn't recommend it

My experience was that they wouldn't deal with bullying fast it takes time more than a week or they just forget it and you get harassed on a daily which the doesn't deal with and the promises they tell like they would give you a timeout card but they never give it to you and when you confront them they would say that they have never promised to give a timeout card of some sort. And they don't teach us enough and get mad that we don't understand which is really frustrating because I go there to learn but they don't teach us the subject at all, some teachers are really nice and are actually care for us and teach us but the rest just don't have time or just move on from the subject too fast which doesn't give us time to the subject that we were learning.

In my opinion and in my experience the school would make us or usually force us to do thing we might not want to do. And when there's an issue with bullying the school/staff won't deal with it until like a week after or even never, and after they say they would take you out for a talk or give you a time out card but they never end up doing so and saying that they have never said that they would give a time out card to you which is quite the issue for me there's many more to sort out that in my opinion is just wrong but I think that's enough and gets sorted.

Girlies, Listen up. L I S T E N U P. This school manages to bamboozle me every day I attend. The rules get worse 🙁💖. First of all, there's a new rule coming out tomorrow, every morning our tutor will check our wrists. Like girly, wtf, what if someone was self-harming? What you gonna do then? What if someone is insecure about their arm hairs? What you gonna do then? Second, probs the most important, someone had to deal with racism through out the whole of year 7 and it's lead up to year 8 as well. It took a whole year and a half for the head of our year to talk to the racist guy. The victim literally took days off of school because of the stress, walking into school every day to be treat the way nobody should be was literally making their mental state crumble, "Say no to bullying, " sure but you find racism acceptable. The guy still hasn't gotten a punishment, at least put him in isolation, what is wrong with you? You have posters saying, "Say no to bullying, " maybe you should start putting up, "Say no to racism, " although, you don't really care, do you? Racism like that is something that needs to be talked to with parents, with the tutors and if it's spread so far to a year and a half like that? That needs to be sent to the principal. Third of all, jewelry, maybe I understand hoop earrings. Maybe I understand chains. But rings? Bracelets? Who's that distracting? The tiniest piece of silver on your finger is distracting the whole class? Something that's literally going to be covered by your blazer sleeve (a bracelet) is apparently going to attract everyone in the world. Some students find some jewelry so important, such as a dead family member's bracelet or ring, that they feel the need to wear it no matter where they are. Havelock is the worst school I've been to, I've been to five because of constant moving because of my dad's work. Come on Havelock, get your 💩 together. So, exactly how are ankles showing going to distract everyone? Totally. Why would people be looking at my feet any way? What is going on in your head. You're choosing appearance over education and behaviour. You. Are. Sickening. The amount of racist students in this 💩ty school is ridiculous. Putting them in a little "Racism conference" isn't going to do 💩, they're just as racist as before. Trust me, I know. Because there's a certain two boys who somebody has had to deal with bothering them. One of them I mentioned earlier. "Slave, " you think that comment in itself doesn't make him worthy of a punishment? It's disgusting.

absolutely rubbish school, i went there and told them i wanted to k!ll myself and was apperently writing suicide notes everywhere and they kicked me out straight away. they care more about your money then your feelings. you have to pay for a timetable and a pencil and a pen its absolutely disgraceful. after this happened i went back to beacon academy which i woud rate 5 stars, anyway they dont care about your wellbeing, their rules are bullshhh

The way they deal with stuff is insane , the student can be innocent but if the teacher is sure on something the teachers say we will sort this then they take the teachers side , it’s shit , u might aswell except blame for everything even tho it’s your fault , when they force u to tell them who did summet too , it’s a fucking joke , they say they care about it education yet they are picky with your appearance, and even if u haven’t done what they are accusing u , they put u in isolation were u learn nothing or they kick u out the school

Amazing very beautimus

Bad school with ridiculous rules. No white socks or hair shorter than a 2 and an extremely ineffective way of dealing with bullying and behavioural issues within the school. Would not recommend. When I was there, they barely had enough staff and substitutes and even in year 11 we sometimes had to join another class because we didn't have a teacher.
