Haughton Academy

I am currently studying at this school and about to finish year 10, for some background information for this to make sense I currently suffer from hypermobility and lung problems which causes my lungs to not open all the way or close and not open so I have to take a strong inhaler as well as steroids my inhaler needs to be taken at 12 o'clock everyday during school hours, the dosage I have been given is 10-15 puffs causing me to feel light headed and shaky after. Since my new dosage being prescribed I have ran into a few problems firstly they have no we're I can take it or allow me to have a rest closed off and not in the open. secondly I leave class 5 minutes early due to my hyper mobility and I have to have my knee strapped up so then I don't accidentally dislocate it or lock it. Multiple teachers have told me that I'm negatively impacting my and my friends learning even though we leave only 5 minutes and nothing ever happens during this time of class switch over. I get we're the teachers are coming from but I always email asking if there's any work to catch up with. Another thing severely wrong with this school is the lack of security the school has, due to it being a joined school having primary school and a school for the disabled this means anyone can come onto school premises for example my friends brother got jumped on school property by a person who doesn't even go to the school and also because of a police report being filed the school was asked by police to give up and security footage and the school responded with we don't have any security cameras on that side gate and the main gates cctv doesn't work on top of that the kitchen cafetiria were the child's food is made is unsanitary aswell as an insident which still freaks me out is one day I got a small sandwich because although it wasn't my first choice to eat here I forgot my lunch, I dound what was a squashed yet still alive medium sized spider in the sandwich between the top bun and the filling I was absolutely horrified and when I asked for money back for it they said no because I had already opened it.
