I have observed numerous complaints about bullying, and I can personally attest to experiencing it myself with authorities turning a blind eye. The bullying was relentless and occurred openly yet no teacher or adult intervened, even after I reported the incidents. While I was offered welfare visits no further action was taken.
In addition to the above, poorly socialized students often direct their frustrations at the teachers. I was one of over thirty witnesses to a very distressing event involving one of my teachers and I was the only one who provided an honest account in my witness statement. Unfortunately, that so-called "confidential" statement was anything but what I got promised as I faced harassment, including being grabbed and threatened, for the remainder of the school year until we were dismissed due to Covid.
These experiences are just a few of the painful memories I carry from my time at this school, even now, 4 year later and there are many more. Countless individuals from my generation have been overlooked, and I am certain that this issue persists today.
The council must take action regarding this school. If they were to spend just one day as a student there, they would likely reconsider how this school should function, if at all.
this school is on smoke 2h dets on a saturday morning, no phones allowed in school if a teacher sees it they take it and a parent has to collect the phone at the end of the day or the next day, some tapped school
I got bullied here and they didn’t do anything about it and whenever a teacher is mean and you say something about them they don’t do anything about it they just let teachers stay mean and racist they mostly treat people differently by skin colour, religon
As a parent this school is really bad my kid got bullied and they did nothing about it and the teachers just don’t treat the kids right and don’t care about mental health.
Harrow high school is a very bad school the Teachers are rude they don’t care about bullying they act nice if a visitor comes but they are very rude to children and care more about what people think then learning and the toilets are always dirty and the lunch 🤮. and they don’t help kids at all they blame it on kids instead of helping
I don’t recommend this school and think it should be shut down
The restrooms are always dirty, there is not enough places to sit outside (learners have to spend breaks at the playground), teachers are mostly mean and some of them are transphobic/homophobic. There is only 2 breaks a day, which, I think, it's not enough, and only at one we can eat warm meals or buy water. Teachers don't care about bullying but if you'll have any face piercing, light makeup or dyied hair, they gonna kick you out from class and call your parents. I do not recommend this school as a learner.
