Teachers are fantastic, friendly and approachable. Reception ladies are just amazing and will go out of their way to help you. No job is too big. Everyone is professional and makes you feel very welcome. They encourage kindness and ensure all the children are happy. I can't recommend enough. Very happy mummy 😊
I left in year 3 at this school and the SEN help was very poor as I just got told there's something wrong with me and they don't know what It is and I never got any additional help so any parents with SEN kids please be warey
This is a terrible school. There isn't anything positive we can say about it. If you want your child to be well educated, remain safe and happy then DO NOT send them here. Its full of poor quality 'problem' teachers (most of whom are also bullies with bad attitudes), and child bullies whose behaviour is not challenged. Academic standards are terrible. And safeguarding is non-existent. Fortunately there are lots of other schools in the local area that are decent, so our advice would be to choose one of those for your child.
Excellent school with wonderful teachers. They have been vigilant with problem children and parents. Offer lots of advice and will not favour or single put anyone. The website is a little dated and slow compared to other schools in the area but has the basics on there.
If I could give this school a zero rating, I would.
Staff turnover is high with regular changes in leadership resulting in inconsistent, chaotic and poor leadership, direction, standards etc.
There are high numbers of inexperienced teaching staff, who offer a very poor standard of teaching and lack intelligence, capability and competence.
Staff regularly allow children to 'run riot' and problem children are regularly allowed to behave poorly, bullying others and affecting the learning of well behaved children etc.
Staff do not listen to or take action on valid complaints or concerns and allow unacceptable situations to recurr causing harm and safeguarding issues. For example, staff have turned a blind eye to pupils bringing in weapons to the school/making threats, have allowed pupils to inappropriately film other pupils and upload to social media etc. Pupils simply aren't safe whilst there.
If you are considering this school for your child, simply put - I would not touch it with a barge pole. There are far better options for schools in the area where your child would receive a much better standard of education and remain safe.
