The pupils are out of control, but then so are many of the parents that send their kids here, as anyone who lives within half a mile of this school can testify.
Yes this school is failing, but it's a pity Ofsted aren't able to inspect the parents. Why is a light never shone upon them ?
My apologies to those parents who value the teachings of respect and discipline. You have my sympathies.
I am so glad I moved out of the area close to this school.
hello I'm a student that goes to this school and they need to book up the ideas first of all I get bullied I tell staff they put them in detention but the kids continue the kids are horrible to be fair the staff are friendly and fair also they do have their bad moments but anyway my lunch time came one time I forgotten my bag in my English room so I went to get it somebody not saying names came up to me and stole my tie and threw it down the stairs so I told him why the hell did you do that than some year 10s came up to me and said are you starting on him I explained and he put something sharp against my neck then they let me go so for what I've put I'm not saying it's a bad school I'm just saying there is nasty kids there and the staff hardily do anything
their clip-on ties people steal them, and kids do mess around with dangerous things composes / pens/ very occasionally knifes
I'm so disappointed in this school my daughter has been bullied since she started really and she is still getting bullied shes been assaulted by a child at this school and is still in same class as this boy I would not send your child here it's a very bad school I feel like my daughter is failed I have kids telling her to khs too its absolutely appalling
Fullashit school cannot teach for jack. Have a 6 form team that keeps students in like a prison as well as crying every time they leave school premises even though they are 18 years of age.
Hanson is difficult to judge as my personal experience had many ups and downs. But if your child struggles with bullying as it is, then I would avoid Hanson. Their anti-bullying system isn’t put into action whatsoever, as history repeats itself over and over again. The social hierarchy is strong, meaning if you’re not popular you’re hated and made to feel bad for it. There are some lucky stars in the school when it comes to teachers though, as some are amazingly supportive and put in plenty of effort for students that are struggling, not just with their respective subjects but with student health too. And the facilities are quite strong too.
No social distancing halls filled with 200-300 students poor hand sanitizer may aswell just be soap full classrooms no ventilation through classrooms and corridors packed on class change over more than usual.
