where do i even start
growing up in this school was awful. the teachers provided absolutely no support whatsoever, i clearly had issues at home and came into school distressed several times, and all they really did was just turn a blind eye to everything. actually ran into someone in the exact same year as me recently in a mental health ward for attempted suicide, if that doesn't provide a testament to the school's ability to help 'nurture' students, i don't know what does. another review sums other things up pretty nicely. even the cafeteria is monopolised to overcharge students parents for their lunches, often costing you upwards of £5+ just for a decent meal.
The students are usually disruptive and there’s little, if any, support for students with problems such as bullying and mental health problems. It’s overcrowded and underfunded and there’s not many extracurriculars- most of them are centred around sports. There is the occasional school play but often times the other interests and hobbies that students may have are left unaccounted for, leaving little room for growth.
