To be honest, the school is alright..it really is. But, in my opinion, I think they can be too harsh on the kids. I know it's to prepare them for life, but do the teachers really have to be so harsh on them? Also the teachers barely ever pay attention to bullying, harassment and things like that. A girl was literally pushed out of a window of a hut/canopy and the teachers didn't bat an eye to it. It is honestly upsetting how little they care about their students' mental health, too. They put so much pressure on them to do well and the kids (normally year six) can often be seen crying as they walk home. The toilets are often clean but the children mess them up and make them absolutely disgusting. Overall, it is an average school.
it is a good school you can't deny that but there is a few problems, like bullying and the people there ( some ) are rude. The teachers are nice and joyful, but they don't handle bullying that seriously; the toilets get cleaned but the children mess them up and they go disgusting once again which is a problem. Some teachers are so bossy, I know it's to help them with their future life but in my opinion it's too harsh on the kids and could impact their life.
'Halfway Houses Primary School is a good school'. it is, but there is a few problems. Bullying is something teachers do not tackle very well, i've been bullied, i told an adult and they done absolutely NOTHING about it. Also I'm in the school right now and they do not handle kids with anger disabilities too well. There is this one child i cannot and will not name who is not handled well. he almost kicked me in the head once and they done NOTHING to stop him from actually kicking me. it is a good school, but it lacks in certain things.
