It is what you would expect as an average british secondary school. People screaming slurs at eachother any chance they get, arguments starting almost frequently, and the teachers. The head of Year 7 should also try to respect the children in her school as well, instead of starting one-sided screaming matches with 11 year olds.
The teaching methods and overall curriculum is okay, but could improve drastically, regarding how all -if not most- have favourite students.
In addition, the social aspect is very poor. My year 7 experience was not the greatest, to say the least (it seems that most of the kids there weren't taught basic manners) and the pshe lessons didn't help with stopping bullying. Younger me was an anxious mess, and the thought of having to see the people that despised me everyday made me want to hide.
Now onto the positive parts, I love the wide range of subjects and clubs you can take part in (though it can sometimes be overwhelming and stressful).
Thank you for reading my review, and have a great day! :)
ps- ill be doing these every school year to report my experience.
