Really poor experience with both the senior leadership team and the governors. All support is being stripped back and the new introductions are just carbon copies of other schools. No care is given to the emotional well-being of children, and children are not listened too. The reason they are not listened too, and this is a direct quote from the chair governor, is ‘children can lie at this age, we listen to them more when they are older unless a teacher witnessed it’ but then of course asked how teachers can witness things given the amount of pupils vs staff, the answer is of course they can’t because they’re busy. What a cosy little paradox they have created for themselves.
With little to no interest in understanding feedback or driving improvement change, and the response being ‘move school if you don’t like’ I’m genuinely concerned about the fate of future generations when it feels like people can make decisions on behalf of hundreds of vulnerable children based on their decades old opinions, hunches and feelings.
So at parents evening I was with my child then she said
at him "YOURE AN (b)" to my child i took my child out of this school
and got him int an finham park primary school
So i went to this school for all of my primary time i was such a good school until the beloved ben whelan passed with cancer the headteachers that came after him couldn’t be bothered to help students if they needed to talk to someone.
