Poor school. I am there and they purposely put me in the wrong classes when i struggle a lot

I go to this school currently and it’s dreadful. The head was tasked with turning around one of the “worst schools in the uk” and is failing. Some of the teachers here i think are trying to get u into trouble and you can’t say anything about it since they are the staff in charge. This school cares more about the “perfect uniform” than homophobia, bullying, racism ect and god forbid your skirt is at thighs length. Please do not send your child here, 99% they will not be happy.

Avoid at all costs
Horrendous values within the institution, cares more about perfect uniforms than bullying, homophobia, transphobia and racism. No action is taken towards the bullies but god forbid your shirt isn’t tucked in. Academy leader told girls they were asking for it by rolling skirts up. Disgusting don’t go there.
i’m begging you, don’t send your child here
i attended pindar school for two years. i was horrendously bullied and abused by hundreds of my peers, and experienced homophobia, transphobia, and just general abuse. as a result of my attendance to george pindar, i’ve developed lifelong, extreme mental health issues, and the school did absolutely nothing to help me. they didn’t sort issues, lied, pretended to care when they really, quite obviously didn’t, and not to mention the pastoral team being shocking. the behaviour at the school is terrible, and most students are disrespectful and mean, and the attitude of most students is also absolutely vile, especially towards any of their peers who are in a minority group. the school deals with racism extremely seriously, but when it comes to any other kind of oppression it just doesn’t care in the slightest. i was once having a horrible panic attack at the bottom of a flight of stairs while my peers laughed, shouted and threw the contents of my school bag at me, and the deputy head at the time just walked past like nothing was happening to go to his office. he just looked at me disgusted, and didn’t punish the boys at all. the teaching is also poor, they usually just stick on a film and let you “take notes” and if they’re not doing that they go over something once and leave you to do it with minimal support. if you care about your child at ALL, do NOT send them to this school, i’m begging you. this school has ruined my future.
Worst school in Scarborough
When I went this school it was a horrible experience.
When I was there the teachers would try to get you into trouble and the environment was there was very poor .
I understand it is not the schools fault but there is a lot of Bullying and I say without causing offence and lot of rough people I left this school at 13 to move and I have been happier ever since .
