I do do not even know where to start with the school constant bullying from teachers people being suspended expelled and put in time out for play fighting and very silly reasons children being children then a student at that school gets accused by a young girl saying that this person is going to come to my house and rape me the school does nothing no suspension did not get expelled nothing and then the young lad started to self harm because The school are not listening to him or helping him. I find this absolutely disgusting behaviour. The school just seems to make out to be taking action but never takes action. These Poor children should not be experiencing this.
Absolutely appalling school, do not recommend one bit. They penalise students who are trying to help a disabled student who was being bullied and then those students got a correction for doing the right thing by trying to make him apologise. I am a former student and a relative of a student that attends now and the school has deteriorated majorly since I left. Do not send your children here if you want them to have a pleasant school experience.
The school care more about uniform than sorting bullying out
They don’t care about if a student is being bullied they care about the uniform more and when students have nails on they get put in the focus room straight away. The school need to sort stuff out seriously and having cctv in the toilets like what the heck?!?! This school is poor and pathetic! :) and with kids getting bullied don’t tell them off for their uniform they have ALOT on their mind how would you like it if you were in their bodies!?!??
i do not recommend this school. it's really bad. they added CAMERAS IN THE TOILETS which is in fact a crime. they also do not do anything at all about bullying and the teachers are really bad. awful school. Can’t wait to leave this school!!

The teaching staff are good although let down by inadequate equipment old and dirty classrooms and a lack-luster technology available on site . the food is also a problem as it is in ever decreasing quantities and a decline in quality. The Asl team is mostly concerned with uniform and looks over the wellbeing and enjoyment of the students. There is also a major issue with misbehaving students being let off from uniform issues or disturbing lessons compared to the tolerance with other students.
It cannot be stressed enough the amazing ability of most teachers to endure and still support the learning of all students willing to partake in lessons.
This school has taught quite bit however it needs a lot of changing.Teacher do absolutely nothing about bullying. Are zero help when it comes to mental health.Teacher do nothing about students using homophobic and racist slurs towards others, some teachers just slide it under the rug this is not acceptable. This school also needs to talk more about the LGBTQ+ community this isn’t covered nearly enough. The teacher are also more focused on getting good results rather then our mental well being. However I’m not speaking on behalf of every teacher in this school. There is some teacher which are great and truly do try their best for us.Teachers tend to let the always let badly behaved students off, letting them get a way with more then the average student. In my opinion everyone should be treated equally unless they have a valid reason. Also I would not recommend this school for many reasons but it’s not the worst school on the planet because it’s taught me a lot, however certain groups of students just make you dread coming into school, school should be a place you want to go to.These certain groups of people just make you feel unsafe and uneasy.Bullying is so common in school and doesn’t get dealed as well as it should, teachers try to do things about it but then excuse it saying ‘they can’t do anything about it’ ‘this will happen in the work place’.Another thing to mention the food has gone down hill so much since after lockdown I understand they have limited amounts of certain food aswell if you don’t get there early enough you get left with all the bad leftovers. It’s kind of a first come first served basis.I think they need to add more vareity.I’m grateful for some aspects this school has given me for example the great friends I’ve made and the social skills I have developed.I dread coming to school every day I hate it so much I hate the environment it doesn’t feel safe with all the bullying.I find teacher tend to put a PowerPoint on and just read off it (this isn’t actually teaching us anything) reading information in bulk isn’t helping us learn, not all teachers do like this,I find this happens a lot in science lessons. Here are some suggestions for some things this school could change to improve as a school educate students more about the LQBTQ , try do something about racist comments and homophobic slurs being handed out left right and centre,More mental health awareness (especially with lockdown being really hard on many) train teacher how to deal with students, misbehaving students waste important student learning time leading up to exams and this time which we have lost a lot of is being wasted due to teachers not being able to get students under control. Many sexual comments get made aswell so we should educate everyone on how inappropriate these types of comments are and how they are in no way shape or form appropriate.
Frederick gent school is not only poor with its teaching but poor with it’s communication with its students and the problems they solve. They solve problems in the wrong manner, which don’t help students at all. Teachers at this school don’t only give students the help they need, with their work, but they also favourite some pupils. With this they treat them differently, help them more and give them better grades. Also, this school doesn’t teach important things on PSHE days such as, the LGBTQ+ community, but they assume everyone is straight (with sex Ed ect…). With tests some teachers have high standards and give lower marks and also punish the pupils that don’t achieve their target grade instead of helping them. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone as it has too many standards, the teachers don’t help and the pupils themselves are really judgemental and disturb the classes.
They don’t know how to handle misbehaved students and haven’t helped me with my mental illness after seeking out help from pastoral multiple times. Bullying is not sorted out and only some teachers respect students and have extremely high expectations (especially during lockdown.) I wouldn’t recommend this school to anybody. If you are from an oppressed group of people e.g LGBTQ+ prepare for a mass amount of unresolved bullying and slurs being said even in front of staff. The only good thing is some teachers who respect children as individuals and do not stereotype them.
