This school is very poor at sharing information about pupils to parents. The information circulated over transitional period was poor to the degree that the dates of the holiday club were incorrect. I have since attempted to be recognised as my son's parent over five times and my contact information to be added to school info and updates but they have failed to successfully execute this task. I'm missed clubs, non standard start times, post school activities, weekly newsletters etc.
If you believe that a parent work together with the school to achieve optimum results then I would question that this is the correct school for this.
teachers are great at teaching, that's all im giving the school, environment is hostile and im often scared for my safety, bullying management is non-existant, the head of additional needs is a racist, homophobic and misogynistic asshole that makes me want to end my life every day i leave the gates of the school, she has purposefully put me in extremely triggering situations on multiple occasions just to make fun of my reaction when no one else is watching, multiple cases of sexual assaults overlooked and sometimes teachers playing a part in it, school claims to be all accepting but it is extremely homophobic and racist and completely overlooks it when this sort of stuff is happening, most teachers are amazing and deserve a lot more, school does the bare minimum leaving teachers with barely enough resources to actually teach a class, it's the people in charge that are the problem, there needs to be a big reform before my mind is charged, sorry to any teachers seeing this, yu are all amazing and deserve a much better school
teachers are homophobic, teachers are discriminatory, the head of the additional needs department is racist, homophobic, and ablest, most other teachers are fine but the ones in charge really are not, there needs to be a big reform before i change my mind, discipline is awful and most of the time racis, homophobia and other forms of bullying are overlooked, along with 4 cases of sexual assault being completely overlooked and teachers playing a part in the 3'd one
