It’s honestly trying it’s best, but the behaviour is atrocious
The school layout is a square so it’s actually pretty easy to navigate. Not as big as Sydenham, thankfully, as you probably won’t get lost. The staff are ok, they get better the older the year group. The food is ok, although once there was a spider in my sandwich :/ The art department is wonderful.
It’s a shame that the budget is not that big (and it shows), because otherwise the school could be great. My only problem is the students. They are some of the worst bunch of people I’ve had to coexist and breathe the same air with. Some kids genuinely do not deserve to go to school, because they’re so lazy and rude I’m surprised some stayed for quite some time.
Also the way this school handles behaviour is terrible. Unless they changed it, they awarded good behaviour with points on E-praise, a website, which is fine at first, but then it sounds pathetic. Good behaviour can literally be as simple as turning up to class. The bar has been set low.
Also this school says they have a “zero tolerance” on sexual harassment or sexual assault. Okay… then tell me why a sexual assaulter was fine?? Because he was literally allowed to leave class 5 minutes early, stay in the reflection room or whatever it’s called during break, and getting his OWN room/space to do exams?? Why does that not merit an exclusion or suspension or anything? Whatever.
