Farmor's School

What a massive mess the school is. There is a culture of bullying, from the top down, that is endemic.The senior team are arrogant and uncaring of staff and pupils, only there to further their own ends, the buildings are falling apart and the equipment for pupils is at best old, at worst (and usually) non-existent.
Someone needs to seriously look at the people in charge and question their qualifications and abilities. Nepotism is rife (the entire senior team are either best buddies or worked together at other schools). The Business Manager (aka Miss Trunchbull) is an account clerk at best, yet wields tremendous and terrifying power over the staff, enabled by the weak head teacher. Fortunately for the school, he is leaving. The pity is that the rest of his "senior" team remain behind to wreak further havoc. It's little short of a disaster and needs some serious input from properly qualified, sensible educators with actual business and teaching experience. It would help if the head teacher stopped using funds raised to repair the school, to enjoy expensive trips abroad with his best mate. The money they spent on fares alone would have replenished an entire classroom. Let alone the boiler it was intended for.
They have also recently lost a court case brought by an ex employee whom they fired. Imagine how much this has cost the school in legal fees - all due to the inadequacy and arrogance of the head teacher. If you were considering Farmor's for your child, do them a favour and move swiftly along.

Dead serious yeah, this school is the most shart thing ever. If you see this and you are thinking “hm maybe I should go here” DO NATTTT. I'm sayingg bullying is badly taken care off. I literally had this boy making me uncomfortable and the teacher told my ass “maybe its because they like you” like PLEASE in asking for help not fishing for compliments. Don't get me started on the skirts. Mannnn stop sexualizing the girls because its getting weird. You're not changing skorts to keep it ‘calm and orderly’. You're changing them because you're dead sexualizing. I promise, no girl or boy has reported skirts other than yourselves.
Yeah shit, yk it was alr at the start, don't like the English floor because you're walking in other classes but now its getting ridiculous.
Thank lord I was descent and could stand up to myself but you poor souls who can't I feel dead sorry for you.

Mixed reviews of my time spent here, some teachers were fantastic, many were dire.
Lots of messing/talking back in classes by some students.
Didn’t set for English, which personally meant I was in a class where many students didn’t care so it was very disruptive.
Now you are allocated either French or Spanish with no real movement if unhappy.
Drama/DT/art facilities seem a little dated.
Bullying on the buses is a real issue.
The buildings are badly designed so you have to pass through another classroom to get to your own if you are late due to an appointment for instance.
Touched on earlier but several instances of bullying all swept under the carpet. Really wish I’d gone elsewhere for my secondary education.
