The teachers are always nice when theres a visitor or when its transition week for the new y7's, then they only care about chewing gum and uniform. Also the school should start a bit later like 9am or something because I have to wake up very early and I barely get sleep, then the teachers give out detentions when someone yawns in class. I also think the no skirt rule makes no sense, what was the point? I hope they had some satisfaction from doing that because no one else did. How is wearing a skirt going to make me fail my classes, "Its distracting" dont look at my skirt then. Why woukd anyone be distracted by my skirt. I dont understand why we HAVE to tuck our shirts in, because it looks very weird, It looks good on girls when they're wearing a skirt and tucked in shirt then its pretty. But when boys have to do it, they look weird.
Anyway.. This school should be shut down, Im not surprised that literal 11 year olds are skipping classes, this school ruins kids and their lives.
Honestly this school is so bad to a point where people are wishing for it to burn down. The teachers are nice for the first 2 weeks of year 7 then all they care about is your uniform. They ban skirts for no reason it was so unnecessary, Uniform rules are even stricter for girls. Girls aren't allowed to wear skirts, jewelery, make up. Even on non-uniform days they get dress codeded for wearing normal clothes. The school always says "Express yourselves" but they don't allow us to, we can't dye our hair, we cant even use vaseline. The school building itself looks like its been through: 5 world wars, 2 tornadoes, 9 tsunamis and 4 terrorist attacks. The toilets smell like a cow shed and theres so much trash it looks like the local recycling centre. The classrooms look like they haven't been cleaned since the 1800's and smell like sweat. The carpets have bugs. Also If your feeling really ill, they will never actually let you go home, its always "drink water" or something along those lines, One time my friends appendix bursted and they told her to stop trying to skip pe and then she spent 6 months in the hospital (Still hasn't recovered, its been 5 1/2 months). The teachers are also quite racist and homophobic. Anyway, I have nothing against the school work but the teachers are really rude, "your not putting enough effort thats a detention" well maybe explain it better instead of putting on a 40 minute video on volume 3, with the camera quality of a vacuum cleaner. The school has no diversity, they want everyone to look and act the same. All the same hair, uniforms, a teacher once told me to try speak with a British accent since im a foreigner.
The school is really bad, They only care about your uniform. A few years ago on my first day at year 7, a certain pe teacher told me to take of my headscarf because its distracting someone, WHAT? Obviously I didn't take it off as its religious and the teacher gave me a detention.
Its An Alright School Got Bullied No Action Done By The Staff And A Kid Who Bugs Me His Name Is sonny Patterson Other Than That Its An Alright Place 7.5/10
Honestly I don't know what to do...my daughter got bullied by an Indian boy colling her bad names like gay, transgender and he wanted to beat her up just because she has a deeper voice and when she told him he's a curry eater he reported her for racism...funny enough we are foreigners...we don't play the racism card. My son got bullied in front of the school by a group of children and humiliated and no one did nothing. After all this only my daughter got punished by saying something back to the bully. My kids are afraid to go to school now..
shit school. hate it here all staff are so shitty at picking up on mental health and only seem to care about the uniform instead of student’s wellbeing. worst school i’ve ever been to lol
Honestly, wish I didn't go. Staff say they will help sort out problems but they never really do, you get told to fill out a form and then it all just gets brushed under the carpet. Most of the teachers are nice but at the same time get really strict with jewellery and makeup, the teachers are also there to set an example so why shouldn't they follow the no makeup and no jewellery rule? It's not impacting our ability to learn, it's a way of expressing ourselves, something that we are highly encouraged to do in our school, yet they ban anything and everything that we use to express ourselves, make it make sense. Do you want us to express ourselves or look and act like programmed robots? In the working world no one is dressed the same, people's ability to work is not Interrupted by makeup, school is supposed to help us prepare ourselves for the future and the working world, not teach us the opposite of what it is. Make it make sense.
okay so firstly give the gays what they want. eyeliner, dyed hair, badges, doc martins, converse, jewelry, etc. if you disagree you're homophobic like a certain tall female french teacher😀. #speakthetruth #exposed
fareham academy when bullying, homophobia, racism: 😁😍😎😜
fareham academy when rings: 😨 🤬😬 😢
yeah anyways this school is so exhausting and draining.
and why do all the decisions made for the school seem to be the most illogical, impractical, confusing choices possible.
and mate what even are the cafeteria queues sort it out rn or im literally gonna off myself😐
also why is it central and why can you buy weed off of literal 11 year olds.
im sorry like i wasnt aware this was the gillies but nevermind.
honestly this school has gone down since year 7, the rules are so confusing to me because i don’t understand how makeup and uniform impacts my learning. The rules also impact students mental health (speaking from experience). In my experience i was wearing makeup to school because i am very insecure and really hate the way I look even though we aren’t allowed to wear makeup till year 11, and one of my teachers saw me wearing makeup and told me to meet her so i could take it off. i instead sat in the toilets crying until she found me. i was then taken out and she was trying to get me to tell her why i am crying, i then went into an anxiety attack and couldn’t breath properly. when i told her this she told me to breath slower with a lot of attitude, she then gives me a makeup wipe and sends me back in the toilets to take my makeup off. I do it and ‘go back to tutor’ but i instead went in the toilets crying and spent the whole of my first lesson crying. the makeup wipes she gave me also made my skin red and hot for an hour as i have sensitive skin but she didn’t care. So i do believe the rules and teachers can be a bit rude and scary. Another thing i would like to talk about is how mental health is skipped over. talking from experience again i was having an anxiety attack about performing in drama and was still forced into performing in front of the class no matter what even though i could have performed outside in front of just the teacher. so i believe there are a lot of improvements to be had.
anyway give the gays what they want- rings, eyeliner, jewellery, doc martins, converse, messy uniform, dyed hair. also if you disagree you’re actually homophobic. like miss bungay. #missbungayisaraginghomophobe #speakthetruth
