My son missed a 9 by two points in history! Of course we’re gutted but what a score. Thanks all fantastic Fairfield teaching peoples. He’s set for bright prospects 👍
Great leadership at this school, clearly shown by the Ofsted reports. Compared with other schools in the area the kids have a greater chance of success and happiness at Fairfield.
Really good. Made lots of friends and enjoyed the teaching style and the way they are hell bent on getting the best out of the kids potential. Happy times.
DizzyHippie very pleased with superb teaching at Fairfield and frowns on criticism of handling of bullies. Many facilities there available for student support which proved invaluable during the inevitably stressful teen years. Excellent set up for focused youngsters.
A truly excellent school with highly dedicated teaching staff. Discipline, respect and attainment are at the heart of the ethos to be found here. Great opportunities for all students are available irrespective of background with pastoral care always a priority.
Fairfield has been a great learning experience for my son, thanks to the dedicated teaching staff. He achieved brilliant GCSE results even through our personal circumstances and I can’t be more proud of him. All hail the amazing work of, in particular, the senior team of the deputy head teachers and the head master. Here’s to Fairfield’s continued success under this management.
terrible for students mental health, was dealing with a mentally troubled friend and was told to block him. NDW does nothing good, outed a girl to her homophobic parents & didn’t even bat an eyelid. okay on the whole, there are some weird restrictive rules like you can’t wear socks over tights, etc etc. bullying happens right in front of their eyes and they do nothing. out of date l teachers, they understand nothing about social media nowadays and cannot conduct safeguarding properly due to it. some weirdo could literally just walk into school as they often leave gates open, wouldn’t recommend.
This school is alright on the whole, but generally don't send students home unless they have phsyical proof they've been sick, which I can understand but also think is stupid. Bullying is still a problem, yet teachers ignore it to tackle more "pressing issues" such as walking around in large groups and "targeting ginger people". Also the gates are usually left open.
absulutely awful and disgusting, teachers dont give two sh!ts about the students, people get bullied and no one cares, people get called slurs, no one cares, the teachers join in on the horrible jokes and just laugh its horrible, i hope i never have to go to that place again
Is alright. Carol is a boss. GCSEs alright. Gaston can be a bit iffy re political correctness. There are some kids that are a bit prickly. One kid LM (initials, if you know you know) is really mean to lots of people. Quite manipulative as well
This school is dreadful, the teachers don't bat an eye at any of the bullying which happens on their grounds. The teaching in general is very lacklustre. I wouldn't recommend any parent sending their child if they care about their mental health.
Not very nice environment my child is not happy here plenty of other schools that are a lot better than this one. I feel like my child is not progressing in there learning and I am not happy with the facilities or the teaching.
