If I could give them 0 stars I would. The school is absolutely atrocious. I agree with the other reviews about uniform, they gave my child a pass and still challenged him on it. They have shared sensitive confidential data about my child, and others, and constantly try to sabotage his education. The head teacher is awful, so unprofessional and uncaring about the students. The education support and family liason officers, slags vulnerable children off to anyone that will listen, and the communication is appalling. No wonder the staff are leaving in droves!

Let's start off, Teachers. Only a couple of teachers that enjoy having, and have a posative view towards educcation to children. All of the other teachers and staff, do not care about students education and are disgraceful and poitlessly rude. Giving out unnecessary negatives and detentions. Hardly any staff actually take the time to listen ot the studens thoughts and maybe ask if anything is going on and why they are behaving badly if so, and if there is anything they could help. Lateness seems to be the most imporant thing in teachers mind, they do not listen to the reasons on why studens are late and immidently assume they are lying. Teachers do not give studens any chances, the conquesces are stupid and somehow if you are 5 minutes late, it's 6x the time just because you're late. This school does not teach anything about our future and only focus on little things that are not needed. Teachers have no patience whatsoever, in general they are very disrespectfull and have favourites, treating everyone differently just because of past things. Next, Uniform. Uniform is a big thing in the UK in all schools, both primary and secondary. Although, in this school it has become the largest worry to teachers, because they think looks are more important than education because they want to 'represent the school', and I don't think people would like to represent such a terrible school. Uniform in the summer stays completely the same, we are lucky enough to not bring in our blazers for now. But still, shorts are not allowed for the boys. As well as the grand cost for the uniform, I found it shocking and upsetting to see my mother loose that amount of money from uniform. The rules and how the teachers and staff expect you to act in school, in my eyes. This school expects us to be the same person. All of us into one perfect, robotic, controllable student. They act as if we are all the same and expect to understand, have the same knowlage and sense of mind of everybody else. They think that we are all fine and happy, but no staff every really asks unless it is spoken. People hide when they are hurting. Students mindset and mental health is (and is getting) increadibly poor, it's terrible to watch students have such negative thoughts. Many fights go in and about this school, almsot every day nobody is left alone and there is always people arguing. Discrimmination, racism, hate comments are all said, and still they hardly do anything about it. And it just causes more disatster. Teachers always complain to students and it just creates more of a fuss too. No communication is used whatsoever and it's upsetting to see such things happening. Classcharts (Behavior, Negatives) is a large thing that helps you controll and let's you see your behavior throughout the day, although, some of the negative applicants are incredibly stupid. Chewing is somehow a detention and also as I said being 5 minutes is already a 30 minute detention. There are so many I could name that are so odd that it confuses you when you see it. Students are always trying their best I tell you, but teachers always seem to see it the other way and destroy their confidence when they have only commited one mistake in the lesson, and has carried on calmly and have done their work to a great or expected standard. I find this school such a disgrace to have been in.

My daughter gets assaulted every day and apparently 1 week isolation and an hours detention is sufficient the person should be in isolation until she can act like a respectful human I won't hold my breath if it wasn't for this 1 person she would be happy might have to move her cause clearly the school can't control her.

Good facilities and good teachers but the kids can be a bit wack

This school only cares about your education, they don’t care about your mental health but when they do it’s always ‘whatever you say in this room stays in this room’ liars.
You say something and it spreads around the school and they phone your parents about it even though they clearly say they wouldn’t tell anyone.
There is also loads of fights in this school and people who break rules because the teachers couldn’t care less about the students. Do not recommend going here. It’s shocking.
But the food is quite good tho

school thinks education is more important than your mental health and make loads of rules to look good but really its rubbish

There is a lot of fights within school and outside school,the culture is definitely very authoritative with more rules put in place and then trying to cover it up, they do care about education but they don't teach morals.
