I enjoyed my time at Dulverton. I haven’t been there in a while but I was a very happy child when attending there. They have two massive fields (at the front and back) for the children to run around, as well as an adventure playground and a new basketball court too. As for the facilities it was quite a large school and with a dedicated music room, library and I.T suite. Also, the school is quite high up in the borough of Bexley’s primary school ratings. As for the indoor learning environment, it starts to go downhill as each child was separated into different tables based on their academic abilities and if your child is put on the bottom table (e.g thick table) at year 1 they will most likely stay on that table until they leave the school, no matter whether they achieve higher than other students on tables above them. At parent evenings my mum and dad were constantly told by every teacher every year that I needed to improve on my SPaG but when I finally got offered a tutor in the school it was for the subjects that I was good at. Also just to point out that if your child is put on the bottom table like me it doesn’t mean anything as after getting into books I gradually began to improve on my SPaG and next year I’m planning on studying Law and Politics at university. Overall if you want your child to have an enjoyable primary experience Dulverton is the place but you may have to step in when it comes to the education that your child is receiving.
