Poor impression from adults’ poor manners and student input
I interviewed for a position in the school a while ago, so I had the chance to interact with both staff and a diverse sample of students there. It is hard to pass a solid judgement on management and quality of teaching after a brief insight, but.. The basic manners of the leadership were not the best of models, but quite the opposite. Each student that I spoke to seemed miserable to be there. They did not know who to turn to in the case of a crisis, made comments on how they did not trust their tutor, and that they thought that lessons (in several subjects) were not made any fun or interesting. Students are the main honest measure of a school success, so maybe for this school something needs to urgently improve. From what I witnessed, I would not work in a school like this, nor enrol my daughters there with confidence.
Managed a whole year here before moving schools as the girls were vile, the teachers nasty and overall horrible experience. Never met anyone that actually enjoyed there time here and I know of a girl who’s genuinely been diagnosed with PTSD after leaving
Love my school, teachers are lovely and always prepared to put in extra effort. Student's mental health support is improving, and overall I couldn't think of a better school to be at.
very good school, good teaching can be a little mean however that depends on you experience and what friends you have. On the whole really enjoy it however exam pressures and mental health can become a problem, however i'm afraid that is the nature of a all girls grammar school
Absolutely awful and overrated
The girls there are horrible and the school itself caused a drastic decline in my mental health.
Do not go there despite what people say it was my biggest mistake.
