they care more about uniform then behavior. put in isolation for 2 periods for having a tie in the wash. they dont do much about problems and rarely give good students praise. school meals are banging tho
The school might look like a good school but the students are either rude or something similar if your another religion other than Christianity or Atheist, and the teachers there are no help especially when you want help the most, I've been to dcs before so I would know, be happy I actually gave a star, pussio.
Cathedral school is ran like a young offenders institute rather than a school with law abiding children.
Extreme lack of care to students especially with extra educational needs
Teachers bully students daily
Do not send your child here
there is alot of fights in this school and people swear and make racist remarks to people and I get bullied myself and let me tell you i've had alot of injuries during school people are really mean at this school and have a lack of respect for teachers
I'm in year 7 and my experience is not good but not bad I get hurt alot and I'm getting bullied and I'm not well liked this school does not have well behaved people but no one is behaved but I hope for the schools sake that this changes because the bullying policy is not great
I am a yr8 student who goes to this and my experience is HORRIBLE, we have fights more than 2 times a week so they are very common, racist incidents have led to students getting PHYSICALLY HURT, a student actually hurt a teacher too last week but he's fine now.The discipline is the WORST, I swear too many students are sooooooo disrespectful and are mean to each other. To be honest I don't feel safe so I'm hoping to move schools eventually. The education system isn't too bad I guess. And in NAV (that's where bad students are sent for a bit) you are mixed with other bad students and you get to PLAY ON A COMPUTER once you finished your work but I'm not too sure since this is just a shared experience from a friend who went there but I think this is why misbehaved students never learn. So, if your considering on sending your child to this school I recommend to look for another PLUS the gates are open for the school so I guess it's kind of easy for anyone to get in.
With the New school only just opening at the Great Northern Road site, it’s not at full student capacity yet. The students at the moment range from Year 7 intake in September 2021 to Year 10 and won’t be at full capacity for another 3-4 year’s
