Child's skin picking
This place is stupid, they do not care for child's safety. If they have an issue with picking skin or scratching they immediately go after the parents for abuse. It's either abusive of self harm for this place but they never blame themselves.

This school is like sooooo bad.
Terrible school
There was no mental health support for the students, there was on account where a teacher stole my phone from me while screaming in my face. We had a head teacher steal money from the students via school trips. The students had no creative freedom in the accessories which was highly restrictive. Homophobic behaviour was displayed and the teachers did nothing about it. Almost everyone did drugs with a lot of people selling them as well.
Discrimination
Has no idea how to respect children or parents my child’s been put in lsu for having the sides of her hair dyed now I understand she’s broke the school rules I’m fine with the consequences but when it’s just mind child that gets pick on by the school and at least 3 of her friends have bright red hair and there allowed to have it but she’s not in my eyes that’s bullying if she’s in lsu for hair they all should be I hate this school
Worst school around
Absolutely terrible experience with this school. Teachers pick favourites who get away with everything. Bullying is coated with a blanket policy which doesn't resolve the issue and only makes less work for the staff. If your child isn't a favourite or ever so slightly misbehaves they will hound the parents for even the slightest thing due to the School being bad at dealing with the simple issues. A parent is unable to express their concerns as it is just ignored, argued that the parent is wrong or simply brushed under the carpet. Teacher bullying is a massive thing in Dene Academy and has been confirmed yet the school have only ever ignored that matter.
I wouldn't be able to count on two hands the amount of parents I've spoken with who either have issues with this school and some of which have pulled children from the school.
I have 3 children and am happy that I quickly realised how much of a bad school this is before my two youngest went to comp.

Worse day
I had a migrane and all they did was make me go back to lessons and a lot of teacher yelled at me making it worse. I can't wear a jacket under my blazer but all my jackets don't fit on top so I had to walk home in the freezing cold rain without any sort of jacket.

food is vile and over priced,teachers always have favourites,nothing gets done about the bullying and the sexism and the racism and the homophobia. they care more about short skirts and makeup than the children’s work load and mental health,toilets are vile too

I’ve been bullied every year and teachers won’t do anything , there police always there , and they never teach us what we need.
