Failed in its Duty of Care to Student and Akin to Prison

If your child’s mental health matters and is a priority to you, I strongly advise steering clear of this school. The environment here is akin to a prison than a place of learning, and the school has utterly failed in its duty of care to support its students. My daughter endured relentless bullying and was the target of teachers from 2021 to 2024, which led her to attempt to take her own life twice. I regret not choosing elective home education sooner, it could have spared her from the trauma and emotional toll caused by this harmful environment.

Avoid at all costs

Horrible school full of bullies and farmers teachers are as useful as a mop in a flood
A desensitised area for smoking and children making profit by selling cigarettes with the teachers 100% aware of this avoid this school at all costs would recommend much better schools in the area (DACA , st beeds)

Must go! You won’t regret it

Love the school so much, I leave this year and I wish I wasn’t! It’s like home so much to the point where I don’t want to go!! My favourite teacher is miss jones (french teacher and head of MFL) and the school has improved loads since the new head mr little started when I was in year 8. I’ve learnt tonnes of stuff and I’m getting good grades. All of the teachers are good even the NQTs

Great - and getting better

This school is amazing and keeps to get better with every year that goes by. The school is going in one direction constantly and that's up; the school supports pupils all the step of the way through their education and has lots of programs and ways to make students feel heard.
I would heavily recommend.

Must go to school!!

I absolutely love that school. It handles things so much better than what it did when I first started in year 7 and I’m now in year 11. It’s improved so so much, the teachers are so much better and there’s newly qualified teachers. Favourite teacher has to be miss hayes (English teacher and head of English) and miss jones (french teacher and head of MFL)

Mediocre at best

Bit shit school bad behaviour lots of drugs and bullying and no proper mental health support. I knew a kid who got shouted at for trying to kill himself. Some teachers were verbally abusive. You’ll probably come out with mediocre grades and a nicotine addiction but its alright.
