As a previous student of the school with additional special needs i felt that the school accommodated very well for this how ever as a black student I felt that racism and favouritism is rife throughout the school and the school is a front for an academia producing exam factory which presents its self as a school that is a good learning environment where it actually is a very toxic environment where bullying, fighting, stealing and drugs occur very often
As a student at Dartford Grammar School, I can say that the students who you study with persevere in their chosen area of study whilst often taking a leading role in the local community through the compulsory IB Creativity, Activity and Service components. The staff are also very caring and want you to succeed, with the learning environment unparalleled to other state schools and very similar to that found in some of the UK's top independent schools. The school's focus on internationalism makes it stand out as well - the focus on learning MFL and the oriental languages really makes this a school to prepare students into the rigours and challenges of an increasingly globalised world.
