Culford School

Absolutely Terrible, if I could rate this place a 0, I would but that’s not an option. Things seem decent and first and some of the Teachers/Staff are alright but other than that it’s just an awful environment to be in. And the point of boarding is to feel welcome which isn’t the case for some of the houses due to the people who should be taking care of you. This school talks about having wonderful pastoral care and make you believe that your child is in good hands when realistically you’ll come to realize that this is far from the truth. One thing about Culford is they’re amazing at putting a positive facade on for public eyes but once you settle in, you’ll wish you never went there and trust me it’s a waste of money. This school lies, twists and degrades you if you try and speak the truth on it as well. And they all try to “ look out for their staff, “
even if they’re wrong or not good people, and they don’t care what they have to flip, lie or make look bad just so they look like a good and caring place that you’d attend. I believe one of the worst houses is Fitzgerald house, the house mistress is unworthy of her job as someone who should be caring for Children and not only is she rude and disrespectful to house members but she is also that way with members of other houses - Unwelcoming and will do anything to manipulate you into thinking she’s this nice, wonderful woman when really she came from the pits of hell. Slightly racist comments are made on a regular basis and it’s just disgusting behavior from people like Staff, more so which makes you wonder, is this a place that I’d like to be paying for my kids to be attending? In my opinion No, it is not. Honestly before you send your kids here do a lot more research because I bet you’ll realize this is not the place you want your kids to be at. You can find much better schools, worth your money, in better locations, with better caring people who do their job correctly and keep your kids happy whilst getting a better education then this school could ever offer. Remember education is important for you’re kids but so is their health and well-being, that includes their mental health :)
