“If you want to play top trump shittiest life, you won’t win”
got told this by my fucking head of year while in my depressed era. I hope she gets that top trump shittiest life (whatever the fuck that means) because she deserves it. She knows NOTHING about mental health and thinks that menopause is the same as depression. If she took a look at herself, and compared her constantly hot flushed menopausal face, and compared it to a struggling child wanting support, she would know the fucking difference. Wouldn’t surprise me if she thinks that HRT and antidepressants are the same thing. Let’s hope she doesn’t take her mood swings, hair loss and vaginal dryness out on any other students. Strongly advise her to get educated on mental health, and while she’s at it, get some HRT. xoxo
The ‘head’ of Year 11 is a horrible woman! Luckily my child has left this school for college now, but I feel sorry for the students who remain and have to continue interacting with her!
awful school. the “hub” that was designed to be a safe space to ALL students had homophobic support staff that thought wearing a rainbow lanyard excused their derogatory and homophobic slurs and automatically make them an ally. My friend was cornered into the toilets and was demanded a strip search by the female hub staff member, to which my friend replied “no you broad boobed women”. My friend managed to squeeze under the G cups and run for her life. To her surprise she got chased by this member of staff down to corridor shouting “come back you lesbo” echoing through her cleavage at my friend. This witch of a women began spinning her rainbow lanyard round her finger and catapulted it at my friend causing a mild head injury to my friend. My friend now suffers with PTSD and has since been homeschooled. She can no longer look at a rainbow the same. If you value your child’s well being DO NOT send your child to this school. My friend cannot even speak up about this incident because of her anxiety while that homophobic horrible heinous hag is still working and traumatising children. I am so glad me and my friend escaped that hell.
Unless youre a "gifted" student stay away from this school!
Horrendous school. If you have any special needs you are treated like crap. My daughter was driven out rather than help her. As a parent I was threatened with legal action for not having my medically diagnosed chronicly ill child in school, had teachers harassing me, surprise visits from the EA telling me I was a bad parent & threatening me. Had to get a solicitor to deal with them.
My "clever" child was treated like royalty though. They only want children that bring their scores up, not interested in helping those that don't. The head is one of the worst, untrustworthy, fake people I've ever met along with the head of year team.
Every other parent I've spoken to have had the same experience with their children that needed special measures.
So happy we never have to deal with them again.
Although I only spent one year at this school, it is safe to say that I did not enjoy it. While most of the teachers were generally all right, the few rude ones displayed such unprofessional and petty behaviour that they outweighed the other teachers. I'm glad that I did not spend longer there.
Studied at this school for 5 years, worst 5 years of my life, never dealt with any bullying the whole time I was there, and the teachers well some are nice some are not I got called an ignorant pig by one of them and nothing was done once I told the head teacher. drugs, alcohol and smoking/vaping happening everyday and never noticed WORST SCHOOL IN WALES
