I would second guess placing a child in this school, I am a forces veteran and I see the institutional dictatorship abuse these children receive. Basic human rights such as visiting the toilet are punished and highly regulated, removal from classes for pathetic and insignificant excuses affecting the learning because the teachers have nothing about them to actually deal and correctly discipline. I’m all for discipline, integrity and respect but I would rather send the children to a detention centre as they would be treated better than they are there. The school abuses children mentally with dictatorship rules, the children can’t even dispose of rubbish in the bins, are forced to call a bald man differently and who dresses in high heels and dresses whenever he feels like it and female teachers with long painted nails like talons and wear whatever they wish yet the children have to have the correct shoes with the correct uniform no room for individuality what so ever and is all punishable by removing them from classes or suspending them. There are children and you wonder why they grow up confused and frustrated with that all shoved in their faces and can’t even breath without doing wrong. 100% is what they have to achieve for homework ! No one is perfect and homework and tests etc are there to gauge what ability a child is at so that they can be taught and learn and improve and grow ! Not here they either achieve 100% or they get a detention after school or during the entire day with no breaks. Prisons are run better than this place and they are also looked after better. This so called academy is all about image and has absolutely no regard for the children, their needs or their wellbeing. A child returning home crying and stressed almost everyday says it all and I am fully aware that they are not the only ones. Don't destroy your children and subject them to this abuse.
Poor pastoral support, some supportive teachers. Many left due to deputy head. Focused on looking good rather than looking after the children in my opinion.
