It’s not to bad I guess
It’s okay but one of the supply teachers swore at at student was pretty funny she got sacked most supply teachers are pretty moany lunch is really nice good selection but the classes are boring but if you do music it’s really fun u get quite a few opportunities but sometimes people get offer to trips and other don’t like not fair but some of the teachers can have a good laugh so it’s okay made a lot of friends so it’s not to bad but I wish we had to wear blazers and the tie is so ugly can’t wait to mix with braview hope the uniform changes not to bad toilets are maky half of them don’t flush or have toilet paper everyone use the disabled toilet but some Arse holes kicked it in so there’s no door and nobody aloud to use the math corridor toiltes if there open there the nicest ones all the desks have chewing gum underneath Beware
If you want to get good grades, don't go to Craigie.
Craigie is one of the worst schools in Dundee and I'm glad it is getting demolished. N5 Geography hasn't had a teacher for months, so the class has to do E-sgoil courses which last an hour once a week. The building itself is a brutalist mess and not fit for purpose. The halls are filthy and full of mold and rubbish. The toilets are destroyed, turning into a vape room at lunch. Behavior is terrible and the Junior students scream in your face when walking down the corridors. The attainment rate is horrible, it was 328th out of 342 secondary schools in the country.
The pass rate for N5 Apps of Maths was only 30% and only 34% of students achieved 5 or more Highers. It's more of a glorified teen nursery than it is a school. If you can, wait until the East-end Campus opens or attend Grove instead as they are a much more academically focused school with a good record. Whereas Craigie takes in the poor catchment areas and students no other school wants to take in. It's harsh but the truth. One good thing I can say about Craigie is that the teachers are great and very supportive, but the school itself is falling to bits. Resembles more of a Soviet apartment block than it does a modern school. Your opportunities here are very limited and it is not a good learning environment.

The school hygiene is terrible toilets are wrecked theres never any toilet paper toilet seats are taken off by students walls are drawn over and disabled toilets have pee all over the walls and floor, the classrooms are always either boiling or freezing at the point where its hard to focus because we are that hot/cold. Whenever teachers are in a bad mood they normally take it out on the students when sometimes they do nothing wrong and teachers are always very cheeky or rude. The subjects we have are alright but some tests such as science or maths can be very stressful and damage alot of students mental health because they are so worried about failure.
Horrible school
Horrid school don’t care about students unless they throw tables and teachers don’t even listen to what you need help with i walked out several times and they didn’t even notice.

Craigie High school has great supportive teachers, classes don’t tend to be too large, there are great study support services available. However, a lot of things at Craigie are unorganised and not done to the best. Some things that happen at this school are very questionable.

if you are a parent do not let your child attend this school.i used to be a student at craigie high and i was traumatised and had countless panic attacks the head teacher is incompetent and does not care about the students the bathrooms are disgusting and unhygienic, a teacher even locked their students in a classroom, i was bullied for being mentally disabled and they did nothing to help,the school is like a prison the teachers patrolling the grounds have walkietalkies, a student fell on glass in the playground and they haven’t done anything to help,there was countless fire alarms going off in the school, i had to beg to leave the school to attend college full time because i was sick of the bullying and all the stress that school has caused me and my friend almost bled out because of self harm because she got bullied worse if you are a parent please do not let your child attend this school.
