COPLEY ACADEMY SHOCKING
THIS SCHOOL IS A WRECK TO SOCIETY, I SENT MY CHILD HERE AND THEY DIDNT LET MY CHILD GO TO THE TOILET MY CHILD WAS CRYING AT THIS INCIDENT.TEACHERS ALWAYS GRABBING STUDENTS AND SCREAMING IN THEIR FACES,SEN DEPARTMENT IS TERRIBLE FAILING TO SEND INFO OFF. NO CONTROL OVER STUDENTS.MANY SUPLIES WHO CANT SPEAK THE LANGUAGE CLEARLY,TEACHERS TARGETTING PUPILS WITH NEEDS AND SEARCHING THEM FOR NO REASON. THE FOOD GAVE MY CHILD SALMONELA AND IS REFUSED FOOD AT TIMES HE IS VERY UNHAPPY HERE.

they do nothing to help with bad behavior and just label you as a naughty kid and honestly the whole time iv been at copley iv learned nothing whatsoever,teachers provoke students and when they react the students in the wrong and i know a few teachers who have touched/grabbed people for no reson whatsoever,
the foods bad and the teachers are so disrespectful and wont send you home even if youv been sick in the toilets,theyv even started locking the toilets

Worst school you could ever send your kids to the teachers have no manners wat so ever they tell children there not going to get far in life witch as a school they should be encouraging you to be the best of your ability, they allow bullying, they lie to parents wen an incident takes place makin the children look like the bad ones,they put your children in isolation for a full day for not having a tie witch your not going to school to be best dressed your there for your education there more arsed about what you wear and what you look like than your education the teachers can’t even seem to keep a class silent they just stand there and wait they make your child wait if they need to use the bathroom and the hygiene is so bad

teachers are not helpful there not anything they cant be bothered. bullying and fighting is hardly taken care of. they tell students to ignore it and they will speak to the other student involved they never do anything about it they just sit there while it happens or the innocent one is put in isolation while the bully is around the school bullying others its not right on children in the school!!

Rubbish school
Some of teachers just cant be bothered ands its very apparent to the pupils and parents,they treat certain pupils very different to others and as a parent i never a call back if i have questions or concerns,the head teacher is invisable,i cant even get the official complai ts form to fill in despite asking several times.kids get sent home and suspended rather than helped then parents get fined even though its the school that sends kids home.absolutely appauling school.

This is my current school and its not good at all. Half of the teachers don't know how to teach/ make the class silent because they just stand there with their arms crossed at the front waiting for people, and half the time you aren't even being loud/your whispering about your work. Another problem with with teachers not letting you go to the toilet. If u need the toilet half way through the lesson only the nice teachers let u go and Mr Harrison (maths teacher) will straight up just say no along with Miss Knight the PE teachers and some others. Also, whenever u go into the girls toilets, there is always people (all the years) vaping. About 4-6 people go stand in a cubical and pass around someone vape, so that's why I never go to the toilets. Toilets aren't very clean. The year 8 some 10 and near enough all the year 11s (these are mostly girls in 8,10,11) are really rude, don't have respect for other pupils and the teachers. The year 8s are very rude to all the year 7s and treat them like garbage. The food is disgusting. The potato wedges aren't even cooked and they are transparent, the pasta has loads of water in it and the food just taste horrible. Wouldn't recommend, can't even wear light makeup on your eyes.

Not a fantastic school from what I can recall.
Not much is done in order to prevent fights, bullying was rarely handled well, most of the students were just downright quite awful in terms of behaviour towards both staff and their peers. The last headteacher they had wasn't doing her job properly either and just made things miserable for everyone else with the changes that were made.
There wasn't much support for those struggling with mental healthy issues or disabilities and the lack of school activities like clubs or fun events was depressing. The food they sold was pretty bad as well, though that point comes with obvious bias.
I left with a lot of problems though so thanks Copley.

It's okay... Some teachers however do not know how to make a class be silent and will just stand in the class waiting, disturbing the learning of others. The students seem friendly enough but some aren't as kind. Students don't have many opportunities at Copley to express yourself. There's no clubs (only band which is rare), uniform is a priority, makeup is restricted as well as hair styles/accessories.

I currently attend Copley and I don’t think it’s that bad !! Everyone is friendly and teachers are super helpful. Although there’s been a lot of management changes, I think it’s fair to say standards are increasing. My grades are very high and suit my standards.
Only good for specific types of people.
School is quite abliest, autistic children are labelled as "stupid or lazy" not much wheelchair access in school. Teachers provoke some students in an attempt to get them in trouble. School doesn't help students being bullied for being LGBTQ+, even though they claim to. School isn't cleaned as properly as it should be. Some teachers really should not be a teacher, others can be really kind and compassionate. Racism isn't well dealt with either.
Copley Academy
This is my current school, and I don’t understand why people think it’s so bad. I really like it!! Most teachers are lovely and overall, it’s just a nice place filled with nice people.
