Not so good in recent months/post COVID....
Communication, ability to see ' children-in-action' (yesterday was the exception). With my older three grandchildren, grandparents' were welcome and valued toooo.
The behaviour of a few teachers', leaves a bit to be desired... . Lack of empathy with their students....
I hope I may understand just, how hard ones' vocation maybe...
I undertook teacher training, have experience, as a Primary School Governor within The 'Golden Triangle', have 'run' a'pre-school' and have had three generations of teachers' within my family over the past 60 years. Currently two of my immediate family are teachers' of 'plus twenty years' standing....
Your influence over your students' is profound.
Return after a 'Happy Christmas', refreshed and ready for the challenges of 2024, please....
This school is filthy dirty, highly unorganised - no proper systems in place for basic things........teaching support staff are treated with such disrespect & inequality & are highly exploited......classrooms are tiny - not enough room for 30 children, meaning children are in confined spaces.....classrooms are not fit for purpose.........no proper ventilation.......etc, etc.........
My experience at Colman Junior School has been outstanding. It has a brilliant environment with fun lessons, kind teachers, great activities and nice school meals. Overall a brilliant primary school, I would totally recommend to people!
