The kids have no manners. Shout abuse and people on their lunch break and litter everywhere. They have no respect for their environment or community. Day today actually have to put a bouncer on the door they are that badly behaved.
My grandson was attacked by another pupil it was totally unprovoked school agreed this was the case
The pupil was not disciplined at all and my son had to go and pick my grandson up from the school this morning.
I really don't know what kind of staff or head teacher this school has but it needs looking into.
The anti bullying policy obviously non existent
Or are teachers afraid of pupils and if so they shouldn't be in the job and the head teacher should be dismissed
It's an average annoying school, not that great not that bad. The experience is different for everyone as no two people are the same. Uniform is strict and uncomfortable which neglects my special needs and sensory issues. Around half of the teachers are rude and have a terrible attitude along with them being very judgemental. A few teachers though have genius teaching strategies and engaging everyone in their lessons. There's still problems with Rascism, Homophobia, Transphobia etc. LGBT+ representation is great, we celebrate purple Friday but not pride month so that's a downer. ALOT of students are rude and disruptive.
I guess the school is meh, they really support LGBTQ+ rights which is amazing, I'm a closeted trans guy and my pupil support teacher and other teachers who know are amazing at helping. If I'm in PE and I get dysphoric I am allowed to step out of class. The PE program is amazing, there's the fitness suit and trampolines football pitches a handball court. The drama department is my personal favourite, big room with the chance to act out titanic and blood brothers.
I don't like the deputy's, there's a lot of favouritism between them but some of the deputy's are down for a good chat which is always good.
The 3rd year timetable change is always amazing, 7 columns to choose from and that includes a personal choice. The teachers are most of the time friendly although you will get a teacher that is a bit meh.
