Bullying

I’ve known many people who have gone to this school and have left to move schools, This school dose not stand up for bullying at all even with the police involved they still didn’t do anything to help, they want to exclude these students from the school playground and some class rooms instead of moving the people that are bullying, the over all Education is good but when your being bullied to the point it’s playing on your mental health you can’t Concentrate or Even go to school, schools should be a places to feel safe in and to learn not to worry about bullying. Don’t know how they got a good score.

GCSEs and A levels

Fabby dabby school

I loved this school. It was the best! Teachers were kind and really helped me to do the very best I could in my GCSEs and A levels. I’m really proud of what I achieved and could not have done it without them.

A school that cares

Lovely teachers and staff. They put a lot of time and effort into, not only teaching pupils, but making sure they have great opportunities, are safe and happy. Cannot say enough positive things about it.

Lovely caring and nurturing school

An amazing school which promotes inclusivity and diversity. It works hard at providing the best individualised education for each student. My child loves everything about it and has excelled beyond all our expectation thanks to caring staff and lots of opportunities.

Admission process

I had a worst experience with the admission regarding my child in collage. No one response after interview was conducted false hopes were given. No replies to email. I would never recommend this collage. Even I physically went to collage to get update on my child admission status and they promised that they will call back but no input. It's been more then 3 months and we are still waiting to hear from them.
I had pathetic experience.

Not a good school. Do not recommend

They do not care about mental health and wellbeing. All they do is tell you off about what you can wear and look like but are often hypocritical. They act all kind and innocent when offsted arrived and all the tecahers were all around the playground acting like they care but when offstead wasn't there they often shout , are rude and are barely many teachers on playground so i dont think they deserve a good review.

bad school teachers dont care

awful school, theres probably 2 teachers in the whole school that are kind and understand mental health and the rest couldnt care less and just yell and give you detentions if you dont do a piece of homework even if they know youre struggling with your mental health. and the strict and sexist uniform rules against girls isnt right and has been in place for too long and teachers try to justify rules they dont even agree with .

absolutely tragic school, care more about litter and skirt length than actual problems within the school. need to get their priorities straight overall. can’t wait to leave

CWLC Review

Overall it's a good school in terms of education but they don't even try to sort out any forms of bullying or harassment, I have been bullied multiple times by students and all they have done is spoke to the students about what happened and then gave up on seeing if the bully would do anything else. As well as this the school cannot deal with mental health well at all, and a lot of staff don't know how to deal with students who have autism or adhd. The uniform rules are strict and often sexist too. But in terms of learning they do teach quite well and some staff are very kind

Brilliant school

All teachers are very supportive and work extremely hard. Any issues I have previously had have been sorted quickly. The staff respect every student and is definitely a great school to go to and grow up in.

Overall great school with some grey areas.

Overall staff are helpful and education system is solid. A bit of a grey area when it comes to the attitudes some teachers have towards students with certain problems like ADHD. Some teachers also take an aggressive standpoint when dealing with bullying scenarios and don’t take chances to listen to both sides. Some teachers also fail to remain politically impartial and put children under the influence that if they do not believe a certain way they are bad. For the most part however, the school is friendly, large, has a good canteen, and full of lovely helpful staff who know exactly how to get the students on track ready for GCSEs.

5 years and only the last 2 were good

CWLC, is a school which was okay at the best of times. Once you look past all of the Ofsted reviews and go to the school and see it from a student point of view. You see the mass bullying awful code of conduct, and as a guy any girl would get anyway with anything sexist teachers. One female teacher came in the class and accused a male student (me) of touching myself in class. Of course I took this as a joke but when the same day people were taking the mick out of me and if the genders were reversed that teacher would be suspended. Which was awful my head of house did nothing about it and I feel like this is the same with students that the head of houses are nice to you. But closer to leaving they start being more ignorant and less like teachers. I’ve personally been bullied at the school and no one did anything. I was lucky to have a great group of mates which would back me up. The school needs a proper review when they’re not expecting it so they can see the true scene in CWLC and how the school isn’t great with one student bringing in a stray dog which was obviously ill and the student got suspended. Awful conduct and sexist teachers treating male students awfully and treating anything a female student does work with less serious outcomes.

Overall was lucky to leave the place with okay grades and was able to get a job in an amazing cyber place even before my grades because I could prove more then what that awful school failed to teach me.
