Staff are rougher than sand paper
and that's being kind!

Vile place! Chavy staff! Always shouting at children! Can talk the talk with parents but the nursery staff and managers are not exceptional in anyway!

Our eldest daughter was at Chinley Day Nursery from the age of 6 months through to now when she is leaving to start school aged 4. Our second daughter has also been at Chinley nursery since the age of 6 months. We have found Chinley Day Nursery to be an excellent childcare setting that has gone above and beyond our expectations throughout the 3 and a half years - we are sad our daughter’s time at this wonderful nursery has come to an end. Key for us when selecting a nursery was an environment where our daughter would be safe and where we trusted she would be well looked after; Chinley Day Nursery not only excelled in this but continually provided a stimulating, caring environment where our little girl could develop her social skills and make meaningful friendships as well as develop her creative skills - there were always fun new activities and themes. Chinley Nursery were great at keeping us informed about our daughter’s day and she always seemed happy to be there and excited to talk about what she did at nursery each day. The nursery building itself is a great environment with a lot of natural light, safe enclosed outdoor areas and always appeared clean and well-maintained. We found the staff positive and always helpful and you could see they had a real genuine care and bond with the children. We also found nursery policies to be appropriate and pragmatic, especially during the difficulties posed by Covid and they were always as flexible as they could be where needed. Our experience of Chinley nursery was consistently great at every level from the baby room through to rising 2s, toddlers and the pre-school room. As parents leaving a child for the first time you naturally worry about how they will cope and adapt to a different environment with new people and Chinley Day Nursery made this an easy process where both girls settled in straight away and the staff never felt like strangers. Our elder daughter is excited and comfortably ready to start school and I am certain her confidence and readiness is due to a large extent to the experience she has had at nursery. I don’t tend to give out glowing reviews lightly however I cannot praise Chinley Day Nursery highly enough and would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a warm, safe and fun environment where they can feel confident their child is under the best possible care.
