There is a smiley GIMP, who was probably on a concoction of psychedelics, who ran up to me, my 17 year old and my new-born and started screaming about how he "trippled" us from over "100 meters" and how we were cheating, we told staff, but they said he is spastic Jack, so they cant do any thing, not worth the 200 mile commute both ways from slough.
Absolutely brilliant college. It's small so its a nice community feel where you get to be friends with everyone not just people on your course. The teachers have been really supportive and I get more support from learning support and my house monitor. I also have a free bus from New Mills.
Did not have a teacher for 6 months into my first year to then being forced to sit an exam i had no understanding for. It was a business course too! How can a college not have a teacher for such a common subject. We had a months worth our first teacher who then went on maternity leave (perfectly fine) but we never got a replacement teacher. Shocking really and appalling, not going back for my second year.
My friend tried to kill himself on the campus and the college asked me to go with him to the hospital. They never followed up afterwards to check if i was okay (i wasn't). I never got support of any description and ended up dropping out at the end of my second year. after a long struggle with my mental health I enrolled in a different college that did offer me proper support, and i excelled. i will never, ever get back the years i spent in the wilderness after my experience here.
I currently attend MSFC. I love it here! The college is nice and small. There’s plenty to do with extra curricular activities. The teachers are lovely and the house monitors. They do everything they can to help and support us and make us feel valued and happy.
