Do not send your Child to this School.There is a serious bullying problem and nothing is done about it.

My experience with Castlehill Primary School has been extremely disappointing. Over several years, I felt my child was repeatedly let down, and despite raising concerns many times, very little ever changed. In my experience, the school often told me things would be done, but the follow-through just didn’t happen. What made the situation even worse was that I frequently felt I wasn’t being given straightforward or honest information. On several occasions, I left conversations feeling misled or told one thing only to discover later that the reality didn’t match what I had been assured. From my perspective, this happened far too often to ignore. I was also deeply concerned about how certain staff members handled sensitive information. Based on my personal experience, I did not feel that confidentiality was always respected, and that is completely unacceptable in a school setting. The overall pattern — broken promises, poor communication, and a lack of trust — left me with no confidence in the support my child was receiving. It was incredibly frustrating and upsetting as a parent to deal with this repeatedly. Because of everything I went through, I cannot recommend Castlehill Primary School. I hope the school takes a serious look at how it communicates with parents, how it handles private information, and how it follows through on what it says, so that other families don’t go through the same experience.

My wee brothers at this school in the ASC bit of the school he’s got severe autism and adhd and the school have been hard on him he’s left out from the mainstream kids and every picture taken of him on the seesaw platform for parents he doesn’t look happy at all he’s separated from the other kids and all the children in the ASC base are treated like their pets My little brother comes home crying a couple times during the week saying stuff that his classmate bit him and kicked him in the leg Occasionally he comes home with bruises all over his body and school said “he had a fall at break time he should be fine” And he’s very smart and clever and the school give him Primary 1 work instead of the level of work he should be at and they all get treated like babies in their My parents have had meetings with the school and all they say is “oh we’re helping him to achieve his best” “don’t worry we will handle it” and then nothing is done I don’t really know that much of what goes on in this school but from what my little brothers told me it must be super rough and horrendous
