Some people can be horrible but u get used to it ig founf used tampons in the bathrooms wiped acroos the walls in school and have been a victim of the shatting segulls overall better than burford .
They don’t care about the kids metal health, they lock the toilet’s and only let the kids go at break and lunch and they can’t control the kids my daughter wants to move schools because of these reasons they never check in with her metal health or anything this school has made her feel rubbish she’s anxious every day she enters that gate it’s getting ridiculous!
Don’t send your kids here. I was predicted 3’s across the board even 2’s in some classes. Moved to another school, had teacher who actually wanted to be there and passed all of my GCSEs.
Do not properly handle children with mental health issues, nor issues around bullying.
Allowed kids to be racially abused (verbally) to the point where parents are calling up daily.
There are always fights, no exaggeration. People smoking on the field, leaving out of a gap in the fence.
Overall, made me depressed. And I can speak for many people that were in my cohort. I will never look back on my time at Carterton community college in a positive light.
This school is not good. Whilst the staff are mostly competent and amiable, vast swathes of teaching staff left during my time at the school, which speaks volumes about the decline of quality. The 2018 cohort left with a 17% pass rate in maths or English, which is worryingly low. During the first lockdown, the school made no effort to do video lessons with year 10 and 11 GCSE students, and simply sent them work to do, with no real teaching. The organisation and running of the school is shockingly poor. I had no intention of doing my A levels there.
