Horrible teachers

These teachers treat you like dirt. They are horrible. By the end of year 7 i had already been through every punishment. They must get a pound for every detention they give out bc it is insane. Up to 200 kids in detention a night filling up a whole hall for detentions. Isolation is a room full of 20+ students for wearing white socks or leggings.

The mental health teachers saw me for $elf h8rm and asked me why i was wearing a jumper. They promise its a safe space but there is CCTV cameras in the room. It is an actual prison and save urself from this hellhole.

Poor standard of education

No clear education path. Students badly let down, even after an inadequate Ofsted rating. Teaching staff just cannot care about the education of their pupils - actions speak louder than words. Lots of the right things being said. Nothing actually carried out. Any parents reading this, please send your children to another school.

Best place ever!

Best school to exist! Very good teaching skills! Some people don't like this school, but personally it is very good! The canteen food is extremely good and the quality of the building work is phenomenal! Top notch school!

Embarrassing

Was recommended this school due to positive experiences and apparent quality of education. Deals horrendously with bullying, you'll just get told not to tell anybody else and they'll sort it. General rooms and state of corridors are definately a mess with people pushing violently causing students to injure themselves and get hurt. A lot of times there will also be food laying on the ground, or lack of ventilation in a room causing foul odors. Toilets are awful, constant vaping and half eaten food everywhere. Substitutes have been known to tell the class it's not their problem they don't understand, but that's just substitutes; the actually teachers are generally decent enough when they actually teach. Mental health support systems again have been known to lie to students about their privacy and continue to worsen mental health. Though with the staff's hard work and long hours in mind a lot of these things are still absolutely unacceptable. As for sports, not including people taking sport sciences, atrocious. Asked to maybe walk around a track a few times for an hour or so. No wonder childrens health is heavily declining. But there's more. The school food is a genuine rip-off. Nobody shoukd be asking a payment of £1 for one cookie, or over £2 for merely the serving of a sandwich, though a few years back what we were given was more understandable. Food quality has rapidly diminished.

It’s ok.

In all honestly, this school acts like it’s some sort of private school level but it really isn’t. It’s very average. Gets the job done. Some teachers are nice and some aren’t. I really disliked the P.E. and Science teachers though. English and Maths ones were super nice on the other hand.

Canteen has very tasty but a little overpriced food. And the facilities we have available are actually pretty good. Especially the library and massive gyms.

Oh yeah and their mental health support is so bad it made me cry. Don’t bother with that.

Overall it’s okay. But not the best.
