Worst management I've ever known. Micro managed by the headteacher who treats the staff like children.
She doesn't trust anybody to do their jobs and subtly bullies her staff making sure it's never carried out where it can be proved.
She does care about the students but not her staff.
This is the big problem at Newman.
Avoid at all costs, whether it's for your children or as a career choice
I'm very concerned about bullying in this school! My son just started the school and already been called names etc... someone pour water on him as he was walking down from classroom to the gate at the end of school.
Not really happy about it and don't really think this school is a safe place.
Went here for a a few years, it was pretty good all round. the teachers care about any incidents as well as the usual- grades, and there are newer facilities. Improvements would be cheaper canteen prices and better management higher up.
It's a good school but there can be more fun stuff, we haven't had a non-uniform day for more then 2 years. We need fun, we need to make the most of our teenage years. So it's ok but we barely have lunch, like we only have 30 minutes for lunch when lining up for food eats a quarter of that time and we're not allowed to eat in class unlike me who always eats:) The food's hella expensive too like chill, make the food cheap(<_>)
