Sort the bullying
l am a s1 and l am scared to come to school people in my year are threatening people and my friend is Lesbian and she got bullied now l have a target on my back the boys are shoving me down the stairs and the teachers can’t handle bullying the teachers are horrible a few nice once but mostly awful and the learning is so irritating l just want to learn but students shout in class and do stuff that makes me lose my focus and l wish l could go to a better school but l can’t l wish l could have a classroom to myself and do the work with no distractions l wish people would stop bullying me people are trying to attack me and it’s scary if l do end up becoming a lawyer lm going to invest into that school so that my siblings can have better
It’s okay but not awful
Overall the school is fine never really had any issues with other students in my year but it worse in the younger years. Certain members of staff aren’t the greatest (Dundas) as well as the some staff treat the older years far too childish and still treat them as primary kids which as a young adult can be very frustrating

Horrible school, Never helped with bullying/Sexual harrassment issues. head of year struck someone and broke their leg. Focused more on kids who were either violent and refused to learn rather than kids who wanted to learn but had issues. Teachers were often rude and dismissive. Traumatizing time there.

It is definitely not the best school in East Kilbride, I'll say that.
I have been attacked on two different occasions and the school hardly did anything to help, and I have dealt with sexual harassment and they did nothing.

Don’t stop there…
Worst place I’ve ever encountered. Absolutely soulless, classrooms are crap and so cold, pupils wear their jackets and use their phone in class, walk out when they want and the curriculum is not great, no smart board or anything to enhance the learning. Worst place ever!!!

calderglen is already known for not dealing with bullying etc in East Kilbride. some aspects of the school are really good however the not so good parts out weigh the good ones.
