Worst of all schools my child ever been to

They seems amazing when you go to the open evenings and when they frist start Promising all the support
A child could possibly need, but just like the rest such a let down but worse, grooming happened right under their noses due to another student said student is still at UTC putting all GIRLS at risk. My child hasn't been able to return due to lack of safety nor have they even bothered to send her any work home to keep up with her field of studies oh and not to forget to mention due to what happened i now have soical services involved they havent attended one meeting since it all came to light we have been chasing about her GCSE's and once again no responce or any arrangements made meaning she will miss out on this to. They have had 8 months to do somthing and have not bothered with my child or even thought about the safety of the other young girls. If you want your kid to be f**ked up in the head, then great. Send them there but if you want to safeguard your child and them to have a future, where their not trying to k**l themselves, then don't bother sending them here because that will be the end result.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE TWO YEARS OF YOUR LIFE COMING HERE.

Where can I start. Honestly this school is in an absolute shambles. Though on the outside it is made to look absolutely great for visitors and presented as a place for many opportunities, It is quite the opposite. Don't be fooled by their endless "sponsors" who you are told will give your child a chance to enduldge in excellent work experience and chances to surpass other students who aren't in schools with the "unique" and "fortunate" links they have. These sponsors do not interact in even the slightest. If your lucky they will send a single employee to show a pre-made presentation that looks like it was made in PowerPoint 10 years ago, endlessly blabbering on about irrelevant information and ending with a pitiful plea for students to sign up to their work experience (which any student in the whole of the UK could of signed up for simply by going on their website). Seems very "exclusive" and "opportunistic" to me. Also, if you are thinking that you will leave the school with skills to "become the next software developer" or "architect" as they say, then prepare to watch paint dry in the sun for 2 years, as both experiences will give you the same volume of skills. I repeat, unless you have skills in the specialist subjects they teach beforehand, then you will learn nothing. The only thing they are concerned with is having you memorise enough useless knowledge to pass the exams and only that. Then again, most won't even pass. The schools priorities are baffling, with them being more worried about the coat your wearing indoors rather than genuine questions you have on the curriculum. Most of the time they refuse to even answer enquires about what you are even supposed to be learning. They host these open evenings to try lure people in with fancy showings but I can assure you, everything you see is fabricated and orchestrated to bring In as much attention and numbers. However, most of the teachers aren't to blame as they are faced with severe understaffed conditions where they are the only individuals holding the entire subject together. This is most notably seen in ALL THREE main subjects: English, maths and science. The three teachers who are left to defend their subject try their best and definitely teach to the best of their ability, however it isnt enough to save the school. The head of maths especially works hard to help his students. The biggest fault has to be the headteacher who has now left to move on. However this doesn't mean the school is in anyway improved. Please. Please do not waste your time here. Stay in your current school or find a different one. Take my advice and stay away If you actually want to pass your GCSE's. By witing this review I do not wish to shift blame on specific teachers as I know they work hard. But the foundations of the school itself is built on false promises and lies. Even the idea of the school itself is a failed notion; or at the very least a failed execution. The school is the epitome of fools gold.

DO NOT bring your children here

The head teacher doesn’t listen to you when you have concerns… only really cares if you’re wearing correct uniform.

you get suspended for the smallest things.. like going into the lift.

priorities students that have higher intelligence.. only a few teachers are nice (like the english teachers or biology teacher)

The teachers here have treated me with 0 respect.. have given me panic attacks and twist stories when they bring parents in..

Allow some students to vape in lessons or smoke outside the school (when it’s a non smoking area)

Doesnt do anything about bullying.. I have had several ‘meetings’ with the head teacher about bullying and all he did was tell them to apologise.

People have made Self Harm comments and teachers have laughed with them.

I don’t feel safe going to school at all.

During the PE lessons no one does anything and the teachers just stand there talking to each other, not paying attention to the students what so ever.

Please whatever you do DO NOT bring your children here.
