Nobody knows how to take care of the kids. The teaching is okay, but when it comes to mental health and my wellbeing, they have no control whatsoever. There was only one teacher there who actually wanted to help. The rest just said to get on with it.
The thing that really did it, was when I was already struggling with school a lot. I came into school one day, knowing that I was just going to go to student support centre, but they didn’t let me in!! I told them I was stressed and terrified about even going in on that day, and the teacher just told me to go to my lesson, didn’t even want to listen to me. I went to my lesson, PE, and I obviously didn’t bring in my kit because I thought I was going to student support centre (they usually let me in). I told the teacher I didn’t have my kit because I was in a massive rush and she then started to tell me that it was my fault and that i should’ve been more prepared. I started having a panic attack and couldn’t breathe, mainly due to the fact that I just wanted to leave the school, and then she left me on my own in the middle of the PE block with someone, a student, who I didn’t even know!! She then came back over and popped me in her office, but luckily then the teacher, who I talked about who actually cared, came over and took me into student centre. The only good things about this school is the food, a few of the nice teachers and that’s about it.
I have so many more stories like this which I wish I had the effort to put on here ha. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the catering teacher oh my god. And the students? They’re bullies, another thing which the school doesn’t know how to handle! Just please don’t send your child to this school, you will regret it.
I left this school and I am never going back.

Since this school opened 5 generations of my family attended and some have been attending still and I can confidently say that this is by far the most organisationally abusive school I’ve ever encountered and as for there anti- bullying policy well they might as well not bother as they don’t adhere to it.
They strangle their students with uniforms and rules. Students don’t have the room to be able to be children, creative or make independent decisions. If anything is to stray from there perfect idealistic framework they act as though it doesn’t exist.
My relative has been bullied so severely due to being different and on the spectrum. My family have had to involve third party authority’s due to lack of approach from the school.
It’s safe to say ofsted need to look at this school more closely as do there governors and quite frankly if the school is so far beyond reproach it should be closed down!
When the school creates a investigation they treat everyone as the suspect. This school has laughable low amounts of care of students and go against their own values.
So far I’ve been here for four years. Now I’ll be honest ,the teaching is fine.I get on with my work,I do what I’m told and I’ve had no problems.I’ve learnt a lot and I think I’ve had plenty opportunities in my time at the school for extra curricular things). The thing that caused my problems (mostly mental) where the other students and how the teachers lack the skills to be able to control them. Even when bullying is happening in front of their eyes they ignore it and don’t try and help the situation. Now this is just my experience but others would agree
This establishment go to great lengths to make themselves appear a respected school with strong values and support. The truth is something much darker. My experience involved a student who was subjected to ongoing bullying with physical assault whilst on school premises which went on for an extended period of time. Due to fear they didn’t tell anyone. In the latter stages and just prior to us finding out about all that they had resorted to self harm for several months. The school failed to notice the self harm marks, failed to spot declining mental health as a result of what was occurring within their own premises and failed to provide an establishment free of bullying and physical assault. They make big references to safeguarding. It’s worthless spin. They hide behind policy, policy which is geared for their own purposes and divorced from the most basic of human rights in law that everyone should be able to enjoy. Any form of complaint or appeal is dealt with using the same level of bent policy which is often and covertly designed to sweep certain matters under the carpet based on opinion as opposed to hard facts and evidence. I wouldn’t recommend any parent send a child here. They talk a good job and have all the warm fluffy words on their website and publications. The truth is, it’s run like a prison and with a similar pecking order whereby it depends on who you are as to how you get treated. Is that a risk you want to take with your kids?
Literally doesn’t care about students mental health or well being all they care about is good grades have not learned anything during the lockdown period
