About brixham college

Brixham collegeis one of the worst school don't recommend the food is vile finding hairs and people touching it and putting it back down .The toilets are horrendous as they lock the toilet during lesson time ,student have to line up to get to the toilet and there only 1 digesting bathroom there .The teacher are just as bad as they send u straight to pip .I think it is one of worst school out there 100% taking my children out of the school .

Respect is a two way street

Absolute rubbish school ran like their training the Hitler youth no wonder the children have zero respect for the place. Children given pip for wearing coats in class because the heating is awful yet teachers are sat there with their coats on keeping warm. Bullying is a big problem here funny how they have a zero tolerance policy on bullying yet it's so rife. Theres not much respect for the students here I believe that's why there's not too much respect back.

A Feckless Institution

As I’ve gotten older and wiser since leaving Brixham College, I realised a few things looking back. This school does not care about your well-being, only your grades. They emphasise good grades to stat pad how terrible the rest of the school is. Let’s not forget the tragic suicide of a student in 2013 which was completely preventable but alas the higher management failed the poor girl. Getting bullied means literally nothing to these people, especially those teachers who have their favourite students who in their eyes can do no wrong and thus they don’t hold them accountable for how they treat other students. Some of the teachers that have been hired here have provably had some rather questionable conduct towards students (you know who you are.) Reading recent reviews it doesn’t surprise me that this school hasn’t changed since I was there, and it’ll probably stay that way indefinitely.

do not recommend

one of my teachers literally told my class that she wasn’t qualified to be teaching our class and proceeded to say she forgot stuff so we had to do it later ?! whattt anyway also student “support” is bad barely support and the reception staff are so rude. i’ve only met like two students how aren’t bullies, the bus is HORRENDOUS you don’t understand the amount of things thrown and actual fights i’ve witnessed. the food is bad and too expensive and overall don’t go here , don’t waste your time :)

awful school.

there’s rats running around the school and one time a monkey escaped from the zoo and came to the school, the teachers didn’t care and told the monkey to punch a kid. this school is very bad, when i told student support i was getting bullied they cut off my thumb with a bread knife, then they stabbed me in the eyes with a school pen. yesterday i fell on the concrete, the teacher jumped on me and kicked my head. when we were doing cooking classes, the teacher put my face on a frying pan, i nearly died that day…

DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Leaving this school was the best decision that I've ever made. Not sure if things have changed since then, but my time there was HELL! I got betrayed big time by a group of girls I thought were my friends. I was bullied every single day for months to the point I was diagnosed with stress induced migraines, on top of the anxiety that I have struggled with my entire life. What did the school do about this.....NOTHING. Student "support" (if you can even call it that!) had the rudest receptionist I've ever met who constantly turned away students no matter how upset they were. They couldn't care less when I broke down and told them that I didn't want to be alive anymore due to the daily torment from those bullies. Their whole "zero tolerance" to bullying is a load of crap!
I DO NOT recommend this place at all!

Bad school bad mental health

Don’t come here back in 2013 a young girl killed herself due to bullying and the school did nothing about the bullying. Don’t come here unless you want to be bullied to suicide. It’s also like jail. I don’t recommend it and I would advise you to pick a different school to avoid conflict, suicide and bullying and also bad teachers
