If you are considering sending your children to this school, please read carefully. If the school decide to paint a target on your child's back, there is no end to which they will bully, intimidate, Harass and abuse. My daughter, who thankfully is leaving this year has been called useless, has been told she will amount to nothing, has been suspended and reinstated in the same day, been pulled out of lessons for no reason and the last 3 years of her life have been destroyed. Despite complaining to the year head, the deputy head, the head and the school of governors, not one single person has ever addressed our concerns, responded or listened. Simply brushed them under the carpet. The standards are shocking, the level of teaching appalling and the way they victimise and single out children is bordering on illegal. I would really, really, urge anyone to look more closely at the school and consider others in the area before going to this one.
Do not send your children here. This school does NOT prioritise students well-being or mental health. Their only focus is attendance. I have multiple family members who have attended here and myself and we have all had horrible experiences. They use past traumas against students and punish them for things they cannot control. This is not a good school and it can and will potentially traumatise your children.
Not a nice place to work. Children are just numbers to the Leadership Team. Very poor treatment of staff and absolutely no professional judgements are listened to. If there is a problem, it is, and always will be, the teachers fault. The only good things about BCA are the children and the staff below leadership level.
